About Gayle
I can take clients from 4 to 99 !

The focus has changed considerably as we have opened up a brick and mortar home school for our granddaughter of which I am headmaster.

We are asking friends and family, and parents to help with the construction which will be swift, and completed quickly!

MAKE A SUMMER BOOK AT HOME! Video coming soon!

Summer Classes are available to book now! Art, Music, Environmental Awareness (Bugs, birds, squirrels, sounds in your neighborhood). Personal Awareness of others; teaching children how not to hurt other people feelings by examples that regard age appropriate answers.

This is good for my online students, in that there will be a camera feed directly into the classroom. Once you have followed the process to secure me as your instructor, you will receive the URL to that private video link and
join our classroom.

This will be especially exciting for special needs children that do not get to leave home to go to school; our grand daughter will in fact have to leave the house to travel to the converted garage in which the school is located. This short trip excites and engages her in her day and the path it takes. Many may think "what is the point," cognitive abilities have a wide range of needs that must be met for a person to progress through life.

As for people like our grand daughter there must be a higher standard, we make the mark very high so she can have all the choices at her finger tips even if she can't implement them herself she deserves the opportunity to HEAR, and TOUCH her way through life.

Understanding what is said is cognitive achievement!
Following directions is cognitive achievement (even if there is a delay in response)
Repeating actions day to day and after a lapse of time [is"cognitive recall" or cognitive memory] event or actions are reintroduced, student is then responding to that "recall."

I believe all people in any state should be stimulated and engaged to learn or be taught something daily.

For more information on how join the home school for special needs individuals, please book a class in the near future and give your child or grandchild the opportunity to join a classroom with classmates to grow IN TO FRIENDS!

ASK a QUESTION!!

Kind Regards,

Gayle Williams

Gayle was very patient with me. That is saying a lot. I have a problem with computers not doing things for me. We did run into that problem, so she sent me a step by step instruction sheet with pictures on it. That helped.

I am pretty new at computers so Gayle has given me hope there is a place for an older person being able to navigate the Windows operating systems. and these smart phones.

I think her style of teaching or tutoring, is impeccable-never once did she let on I didn't know what I was doing. She made me feel comfortable and was up-front what I needed to do and allowed me to do it myself. I learn best if I do things myself.

She has given me a way to do basic Windows actions, email, internet and most important of all access Netflix!

I highly recommend Gayle for any of the classes she teaches. Computers are not my strong area- but with Gayle's help now I can help my veteran buddies get on the VA sites and conduct business. I can help other apply for jobs and navigate a resume and basic things we all should know now no matter how old we get.

Good going Gayle!

About Jennifer
I have been teaching and tutoring since 1996. I have worked with students in areas of writing, internet research, and public speaking. I was also a school teacher for several years, and was very effective in teaching reading through phonics and site words, using real life situations such as creative expression through writing and dialog to make learning more meaningful.

My approach to tutoring is collaborative with the student, regardless of age or academic level. Writing and critical thinking skills are developed by brainstorming, drafting, and identifying opportunities to construct thoughts into meaningful written contact. I keep tutoring fresh and interesting, gradually introducing higher level concepts (i.e. figurative language) as the tutoring process becomes more advanced.

In addition to teaching and tutoring experience, I h
ave also worked as an Administrative Assistant over the years. This gave me the opportunity to learn the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I teach these as well, as they relate to helping students with the writing and organizational process.

I have a business website for my pet grooming service. Jennifer helped me devise content for the site that gets my message across effectively and succinctly. She helped me determine what really needs to be said vs. what might look nice, but that might be redundant. I was able to shorten my draft without losing any quality of content.

About Morgan
I am a UCF senior biology student and undergraduate researcher in a population genetics lab. My interests in biology include quantum biology, ecology, and avian population genetics.

I got my start as a tutor at the University of Central Florida Writing Center, tutoring writing to a variety of students in a variety of subjects. Since then I have been tutoring writing and biology to the general population.

I focus on learning, as well as grades. It is my ultimate goal that the student not only learn the material and truly understand it, but, indeed, learn how to be an even better learner. To achieve this goal, I use a variety of methods, and really test my students with challenging questions to gauge their understanding of the material. I hope to achieve not just comprehension, but an appreciation for the subject. I do this through fun a
necdotes and experiments, as well as interesting facts about the subject. To foster a deeper understanding of the material, I may also delve into related fields to help explain a concept more thoroughly, in short, to show the "why" and "how", not just the "what".

Hi there. I'm an Honors student going into my 3rd year of college. I always get positive feedback on papers and essays I write--a lot of professors seem surprised to receive quality work from a college student. I graduated in the top 10% of my high school class. I have a really good understanding of what makes a good student writer, and I can help you get significantly better at it in a short time if you want to--no matter what your current skill level or goals are. I'm happy to work with you and challenge you to get to where you want to be. Writing is a skill. I can help you make some headway.

Struggling with math assignments? Perhaps it's time to change your perspective. Here, Forest Hills, NY teacher Claire W. explains how to make the subject much easier to learn:   What's the trick to learning math? Before you begin, you must believe that you can do it. Breaking Bad Reading | Reading Comprehension Practice
