During my lessons I apply modern approaches and techniques that help you master the foreign language. I prepare many power point presentations myself. beginning of the lesson, we start with warm-ups so our voice is
ready to sing high or low notes. When you first start with Mr. Bar-
bosa, he will have you sing multiple songs and scales so he can
learn your vocal range. Mr. Barbosa makes sure that you understand
the content and if you don't, he is helpful and explains it in a way we
can comprehend. Lessons are a great way to improve your singing.
I’m becoming more comfortable performing in front of my peers.

Hi, my name is Jill. I am from the USA and am a very advanced native English speaker. My goal is to assist you in gaining educational proficiencies, particularly in communications, art, business, study skills, web design, and English. I have a great deal of education and publishing experience, which will make for a successful collaboration on any project. As a lifelong learner and educator, I am consistently adding to my knowledge bank through apropos research and online courses. I have completed 37 certifications, including the 100 hour TESOL (Teaching English As A Second Language) course offered by Oxford Seminars with an excellent score.
For those of you who may be creatively inclined, I offer inclusions of art in your lesson plans because I have also taught art to just about every age group, and mainly have loved teaching high school and adult levels. Just think about all the different ways you could use this information by simply spending some tutoring time with me!

I am new at online teaching, but have experience in taking many online courses myself. Availability is open, according to need of students.
I am looking to tutor or teach in a variety of areas. I have a minor in Native American Studies, which is an interesting area of study for History.
I enjoy reading works of others, so if you need proofreading, or your stories read, or a writing intensive class, I would love to help you out.
My own course:
"Sociology and Buddhism in Prison". This is an interesting course to introduce you to two disciplines in one course, Sociology and Buddhism.
This is a writing course; you will need to write your thoughts and feelings about the materials provided for you. You do not need to regurgitate the material, but react to it. I am more interested in your thoughts and feelings around the subject, than memorizing materials for a test.
There will be videos, and suggested readings.
There are no tests.
As an English teacher who has been teaching since 2011, I know that the best way to learn English is by finding methods that we enjoy. Whether it's business English, legal English, or conversation classes, I make sure my students leave their lessons feeling inspired and satisfied.
I've been a music and English teacher since 2010. I specialize in both classical and jazz. I've also been a professional jazz pianist, having performed in over 15 countries. I am able to teach improvisation, how to read and write music, and everything about music theory. Most importantly, I make my lessons a lot of fun.
Currently, I am teaching English and Spanish as a Foreign Language in online and virtual classrooms. I have 3 years of experience in teaching English Conversation courses and preparing university students for ESL Oral Examinations. My teaching approach is targeted oriented, which means that my methods, activities and assessments are based on successful proven activities and methodologies tested by empirical research.
I am a teacher who is demanding, but also fun and enjoyable. Someone who encourages confidence in her students to practice and speak more, and gives feedback and homework activities to her students for faster progress, if students are committed 100%.
Only committed and motivated students are accepted in my classes! :) I like to use Social Science topics and disciplines to encourage discussion, debates and critical thinking skills in my students, as they practice English or Spanish, and I am always looking for new ways and simpler ways to teach ...

As a current EL teacher assistant serving at various middle school and elementary schools in the Peninsula School District, ESL can be challenging, but fun to teach. Embracing the students' diverse backgrounds while providing the knowledge of basic to advanced English language concepts is part of the reason why English Language instruction is rewarding. ESL lessons will be centered around student needs, whether that is learning English through academic language curriculum or through simple conversational English.
Although I would like to think that I have all the answers, I would also like to learn something new from the students as well. I look forward to working with everyone!
As a result of having lived in a non-native-English-speaking country (China) for more than 10 years I have a lot of experience speaking with people who desire to improve their verbal English capability. I have taught conversational English in classroom settings. I currently am involved with coaching oral English learners on proper pronunciation. During ESL lessons my focus is on correcting pronunciation while text is read. Students may read from articles of their own choosing that interest them.
Increasing vocabulary and learning about grammar is often accomplished through self-study. However, often it is difficult to improve pronunciation without receiving correction from a native English speaker. I am available to provide pronunciation coaching, helping students identify areas for improvement and correcting pronunciation as text is read.
