I have studied English at University and got my Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics in 2007. Since then I have been teaching foreign languagies to students from different countries. During my lessons I apply modern approaches and techniques that help you master the foreign language. I prepare many power point presentations myself. They consist of interactive exercices that aim to help you enrich your vocabulary and enhance the comprehension.

About Karina
I am a certified teacher of English, Russian and French languages with 10 years of experience. During my university years, I had been living in the United Kingdom in 2004 and 2006. I have been teaching students from all over the world. During many years of teaching, I made up a lot of seminars, practical lessons, interactive exercises, slideshows with different tasks in order to help students start speaking fluently and promptly understand English and French-speaking people. I have got my Master's degree in Applied Linguistics in 2007 and started my teaching career in the same year. Since then teaching became not just my job but my passion. I am fond of learning and applying new techniques and approaches in teaching foreign languages to students of all ages and different levels. My primary goal is to make my tutorials interesting and effe
ctive in order to develop practical skills in speaking and understanding foreign languages that will last a lifetime. In August 2017 I became a CELTA certified teacher of English/ESL. I welcome new students!!!

I hired Bruno to help me comprehend my book for class. He showed up and genuinely cared that I was getting it. He showed me a note taking idea that to me seemed that if I just wrote a couple of ideas down I’d go back and know where I was as far as going back and studying. He asked if I needed to write this point down and basically showed how to do the job. Great work.

Mr. Barbosa is a very outgoing person who always checks in on his students before we begin the lesson. At the
beginning of the lesson, we start with warm-ups so our voice is
ready to sing high or low notes. When you first start with Mr. Bar-
bosa, he will have you sing multiple songs and scales so he can
learn your vocal range. Mr. Barbosa makes sure that you understand
the content and if you don't, he is helpful and explains it in a way we
can comprehend. Lessons are a great way to improve your singing.
I’m becoming more comfortable performing in front of my peers.

Hi, my name is Jill. I am from the USA and am a very advanced native English speaker. My goal is to assist you in gaining educational proficiencies, particularly in communications, art, business, study skills, web design, and English. I have a great deal of education and publishing experience, which will make for a successful collaboration on any project. As a lifelong learner and educator, I am consistently adding to my knowledge bank through apropos research and online courses. I have completed 37 certifications, including the 100 hour TESOL (Teaching English As A Second Language) course offered by Oxford Seminars with an excellent score.
For those of you who may be creatively inclined, I offer inclusions of art in your lesson plans because I have also taught art to just about every age group, and mainly have loved teaching high school and adult levels. Just think about all the different ways you could use this information by simply spending some tutoring time with me!

About Jill
Join me for the creative unleashing of highly effective processes of learning success. Your instruction will include: A. creative problem solving (unleashing the genius within) B. formation; a foundation is planned (architect) C. building; drafts are written (carpenter) D. finishing; the writing is polished (finishing editor/proofreader) I've used these guiding principles countless times in my life. Just as a jeweler would not be able to sell rough stones, Jill would not have been able to make anything in the publishing field without employing these principles. Her college papers would have been fair to dull rocks. She can say this as the daughter of a bricklayer who was the son of a stonemason in a familial line that dates back to middle 1600. So, of course, I did learn about laying bricks and throwing rocks too. Not very many structures
stand the test of time when we throw rocks (rough drafts). Only with this brick, mortar, and finish will the building stand. But enough about my lineage. My capstone point is that the finishing point of any building or writing should communicate a great product. In creating this description I had the above principles in mind. My college papers, business papers, copywriting, web designs, resumes, and even informal conversations are inclusive of this process of which proofreading is a vital component. Why? Well, I might want to throw a rock at myself if I assume myself incapable of accomplishing as much. And as the daughter of a bricklayer, I think I know about bricks and buildings, and mortar, and capstones such as proofreading. So now at my concluding paragraph contains the capstone of what is called proofreading. Proofreading, as my gem of a teacher told me, is constructed with similar principles. It contains a precise methodology which assures great communication. I would like to involve you in this structure. Please step in the door so I may explain the steps involved in editing and proofreading as art, the elements and principles of Art and English as your toolkit, and design as your structured building of success!

About Valerie C.

I am new at online teaching, but have experience in taking many online courses myself. Availability is open, according to need of students.

About Valerie
Greetings!

I am looking to tutor or teach in a variety of areas. I have a minor in Native American Studies, which is an interesting area of study for History.

I enjoy reading works of others, so if you need proofreading, or your stories read, or a writing intensive class, I would love to help you out.

My own course:

"Sociology and Buddhism in Prison". This is an interesting course to introduce you to two disciplines in one course, Sociology and Buddhism.

This is a writing course; you will need to write your thoughts and feelings about the materials provided for you. You do not need to regurgitate the material, but react to it. I am more interested in your thoughts and feelings around the subject, than memorizing materials for a test.

There will be videos, and suggested readings.

There are no tests.

About Brad B.

As a result of having lived in a non-native-English-speaking country (China) for more than 10 years I have a lot of experience speaking with people who desire to improve their verbal English capability. I have taught conversational English in classroom settings. I currently am involved with coaching oral English learners on proper pronunciation. During ESL lessons my focus is on correcting pronunciation while text is read. Students may read from articles of their own choosing that interest them.

About Brad
I have taught conversational English in both China and Japan. Many people have studied English and understand written English but struggle to speak English.
Increasing vocabulary and learning about grammar is often accomplished through self-study. However, often it is difficult to improve pronunciation without receiving correction from a native English speaker. I am available to provide pronunciation coaching, helping students identify areas for improvement and correcting pronunciation as text is read.
