Loquacious, but each moment of verbal conversation has a message that leads to the musical lessons of the day. I really appreciate her knowledge and skill. I am often reminiscent of my violin instructor as a child. Each session leaves me with the zeal to practice hard in eager preparation
for the next.
I have found that the attending student group to be extremely supportive to all other students especially to those experiencing performance anxiety. Repeating attendees (from all over the country) have formed lasting friendships among themselves which have endured for years. Eight week long sessions are given throughout the year. In addition there are summer sessions for school aged youth
and also 4 short week sessions for those wishing to try a sampling of the camp. This past January was my 3rd year attending the camp and I will be returning again next year. My experiences at the camp have been truly unforgettable. More information can be obtained at Sonatina.com

I have been playing most of my life. I started playing professionally at 17, playing with a number of professional bands playing all over Michigan. I have been teaching drum students since the age of 19, teaching well over 500 students to date.
Teaching students has been one of my passions with music. I hope to motivate my students to learn to play and love the drums as much as I do.
I work with each student on an individual basis to help them learn and understand drumming technique using books and techniques that will help to develop instinctive skills and ear technique.
I work with snare drum / rudimental technique with all my students and drum set technique, as most students want to learn how to play a drum set. Many of my students are in school band learning snare drum and percussion technique. Basic snare drum technique is important for any student to master and understand to learn to apply to snare drum and drum set technique.

Hello! My name is Phillip M. and I have been playing the Horn for 18 years now. I started back in elementary school and haven't looked back since. After high school, I went to Central Michigan University where I earned my Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance while studying under Dr. Bruce Bonnell.
So grateful Phillip - she is anxious to spend the summer learning from you - we appreciate your approach and as he said ability to "put her at ease" so she can feel comfortable to learn. Awesome first lesson.

s incredible as touring and performing can be, I have a huge passion for teaching banjo too. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced player, it’s important to me to show you that banjo is not just a bluegrass instrument, but an incredibly versatile conduit to EVERY type of music.
Though I mostly teach three-finger style (from beginner to advanced lessons), I teach the occasional clawhammer lesson as well. We can talk about anything you’d like– I maintain the importance of keeping lessons personal and only going in the direction you want.
Hey, my name is David Jones (Davey Jones if you’d like). I’ve been playing banjo for almost 25 years, more than 15 of which have been on a professional level. I’m a founding member of the Southeast Michigan indie band Frontier Ruckus, with whom I’ve played over a thousand shows across the U.

Your favorite athletes all work with coaches. A football coach creates plays and helps players adapt to the game on the field. A swimming coach analyzes individual parts of the athlete's stroke to gain more speed in the pool. A gymnastics coach finds ways for the gymnast to add more grace and power to his or her routines. Just like these athletic coaches, a writing coach or tutor is an excellent asset as you work to develop your writing and rise above the competition. Just like athletic coaches …

There are so many websites, books, and other resources to help you improve writing skills, study skills, and more. Here are 8 awesome ideas from San Diego, CA tutor Natalie S... Beginning and completing a piece of writing can be a scary process. To some students, it may feel like there are a lot of unknown variables. It takes a long time to outline an essay.
