In high school, most of my classmates had to start with high school level algebra as freshmen. I tested out and was able to go straight to geometry.
Later in life, I was teaching these same skills to young and older adults who were studying to earn their GED. The math section of the GED is where most do poorly and I'm proud to say that over 50 of my GED prep students received their Maryland State High School Diplomas!

Hi there! I'm so excited to work with you! As a senior dramaturgy student at Carnegie Mellon University, I am well-versed in every kind of writing. This includes academic papers and creative stories, but also playwriting, screenwriting, and other niches. My own writing has won multiple National History Day awards, been published in various magazines and editorials, and got me into Carnegie Mellon University. Since studying dramaturgy, my note-giving skills and critical eye have only developed further. I am happy to work towards your specific goals, whether they are focused on the mechanics of writing, genre-specific writing, or if you're just looking for an editor for your work!

Informational Writing. Two words bound to lose the attention of any kid (and probably just about every adult) the second they’re uttered…It’s not a phrase that’s quite conducive to awe, wonder, or excitement. And outside of battling a lack of interest, writing itself can be a tedious, frustrating, and scary process that most students do everything they can to avoid. So what can we do? How can we get past all of the barriers that children and students put up for us and for themselv …
