I've been teaching Chinese for almost 8 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of Chinese language, culture and more! Within the first few lessons, you'll start learning and speaking simple practical Chinese characters and sentences and as time goes on, you'll be able to write and speak Chinese fluently.I typically use worksheets, living textbooks,Chinese songs, role play and more. I love working with students of all experience levels.

I am both patient and enthusiastic as a teacher. I speak Mandarin Chinese as my native language, and can help my students progress to a high level. Once I have determined the student's level, I work with them to help them improve according to their goals.

Students can expect to set goals for each week and to be given assignments to practice in between lessons.

Mastering the fundamentals is essential to language learning. I focus on building a strong foundation of accurate sounds and tones, using familiar examples to make connections stick. Step by step, we cover everyday essentials, including numbers, colors, greetings, and phrases and expressions that will help you feel confident in Chinese-speaking environments.
