"Matt tutored me for both Organic Chemistry I and II. His lessons were incredibly effective. My Organic Chemistry professor is known as a very challenging
Orgo professor at my school and any difficult concepts and questions that I would bring to Matt, he researched efficiently, and discussed with me at length until I understood the topics. He took the time to meet with me when it was good for my schedule, even if it was at inconvenient hours like late evening during the weekends, etc. Whether it was working at difficult practice problems my professor would assign, practice test questions, textbook problems, or simply deciphering the terminology of Organic Chemistry, Matt was a huge help and helped me develop my passion for Organic Chemistry!"

About Dr. Alan
I am a recently retired university professor with 37 years' teaching and research experience in organic and bio-organic chemistry at two major U. S. State universities. During the past 18 years I have served as an MCAT content contributor by providing "units" (passages + questions based on passage content) to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the agency that produces and administers MCAT. I currently tutor students worldwide by using interactive Skype and Google Hangouts with screen sharing. The screen sharing feature permits chemical structures, formulas and reaction mechanisms to be drawn onscreen in real time during tutorial sessions. All visual materials produced in this manner are saved as jpg files and sent to students as email attachments at the conclusion of each tutorial session. In addition to one-on-one tutor
ing, Students are provided with study and review materials, practice problems and sample exam questions that I know from experience are likely to appear on midterm and final examinations.

About Kendra M.
CloseAbout Kendra
Hello! My name is Kendra. I am a professional actress, a published author, a singer-songwriter, and a performance artist. I graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Theatre Arts (Acting) in 2015. I recently moved to Denver, CO from Los Angeles, CA with the intent of focusing on my songwriting career. I began theatrical training at the ripe age of 4, and immediately took to the stage. Auditioning became second nature for me, and I started booking roles and drawing the attention of local agents around age 8. The summers of my childhood were spent flying from my home of Houston, TX to Los Angeles, CA to study with the industry's top teachers. My love for acting continued to grow. I studied the intricacies of film and learned how to control my emotional recall. I learned how to light up the stage with my body language and how I c
arried my voice. At Pepperdine University, I focused on classical theatre, clowning, improvisation, and directing. My senior year, I was the assistant director for the Play: Doubt, A Parable. In November of 2017, I published my first book, "The Politics of". I am currently in the process of writing my second novel, working on my debut album, and becoming a part of the Denver poetry scene.

About Andrew
I teach/tutor a myriad of topics and love doing it. I'm currently attending the Georgia Institute of Technology, studying aerospace engineering and computer science, so I love science and math (particularly when it has to do with space stuff). I'm super outgoing and a very laid back, chill person all at the same time (being like this has produced quite the stories). I also love food, a lot.
Working with others and helping them succeed has been something I've loved to do for a while now. While I was in high school, I was a coach for one of the local swim teams and had a blast getting to teach people how to swim and such, and the best part was getting to connect with those kids and seeing them succeed during the swim meets.

Once I graduated, I had the privilege to serve as a full time volunteer in Brazil for a couple years, where my
sole focus, every day, was to help others to improve the quality of their life. In doing so, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet new people everyday and see people's lives drastically improve. Another cool part of this experience was that I got to teach English as a second language to people who'd never spoken it before. They loved it, and in the time that I did teach it, students went from speaking no English to being able to form basic sentences and have simple conversations.
Now in college, I've strived to continue this pattern with the little free time that I get during the week and on the weekends due to my classes. Throughout all of this, I've discovered how easy it is for me to connect with people and how much fun it can be.
What I bring to the lessons:
I always ensure to provide the highest quality lessons and ensure that the student easily understands the materials. I'll provide materials that I know will assist the student to master the concepts.
My expectations:
Learning requires the student to put in effort. Any assignments I give, I will expect them to be completed. I understand that sometimes one of "those weeks" comes around where life hits us in the face, but it's not every week.
Your expectations:
You've come to me obviously to learn something new, and I intend to go above and beyond those expectations. I want the lessons to be more than just sit down, do the work, and then leave. That's not a great way to learn stuff, in my opinion. Expect to be brought out of your comfort zone a bit and experience things you never experienced before. Above all, expect to see these lessons as an enjoyable experience.

Hi! I have been a nurse for 17 years, and I love teaching! I have worked in all areas of healthcare, and have tons of stories to share. I got my PhD in nursing in 2009, and study innovative ways to teach students that are holistic and student focused. You come first.
I have 3 small children who keep me very busy. But somehow it's never busy enough for me! I always need to be doing something, and MAKING things is my passion. I do all the textile arts (knitting, quilting, sewing, etc), and love construction (electrical, plumbing, woodwork, and anything that involves power tools). I believe these are life skills for anyone, but especially for women who often didn't grow up learning all the "how to’s." I create a comfortable environment, and believe laughter is one of the best ways for learning to happen.
