As a classical singer, I have extensive training and experience in clear, non-regional diction. In our sessions, students will learn and practice speaking and reading aloud in English.

About Katelyn
How I Can Help You:

I have worked one on one with music students for 10 years. I have extensive experience in teaching classical, musical theater, and pop styles of singing, as well as acting for the stage and beginning piano.

Whether you are a beginner, or a veteran musician, I can help you cultivate your musical skills.

About Me:

I am a classically trained singer, with a master's degree in music from The Peabody Institute. I have performed at The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, The Tanglewood Music Center, several local and national opera companies, and have been positively reviewed in The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Baltimore Sun, and The Boston Globe.

*** Lesson Details ***
Each student receives a personalized lesson plan, based on his/her goals, and musical background.

My singers are all trained in a cla
ssical technique, even if they specialize in contemporary singing, to help them avoid potential vocal injury.

My piano students learn to read and play music at their own pace.

My acting and spoken voice students learn to feel comfortable reading clearly, and reciting/performing on stage or other public areas.

My music theory students work one on one with me, learning basic theory (note names, durations, etc.) to advanced theory, ear training, and composition.

I am flexible and am willing to work with students of any age and level. I only require that students practice and enjoy the music they make.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Music room in home with seating for parents.

*** Specialties ***
I am a classical singer, and specialize in classical voice training. However, I also have extensive experience in other singing styles, from choral to popular, and acting/oratory. I have a minor in music theory, and have taken advanced courses in music theory pedagogy.

I have studied linguistics and foreign languages for singing opera and I can help people find better English vowel and consonant production.

About Rebecca
An international performing artist, Rebecca has most recently performed in December of 2018 with the Genesis Opera's inaugural production of Amahl and the Night Visitors of Menotti as the Mother. Earlier in 2018, she performed with the Temecula Symphony Orchestra as Amneris in the Triumphal Scene from Aida by Verdi, under the direction of Maestro John Mario di Costanzo. She has been a featured artist at the Etruria Opera Festival in Tarquinia and the Tuscia Opera Festival in Italy from 2009 to 2017 as well as performing recitals and concerts in the Southern California area. In November of 2014, Rebecca organized and performed in the Suor Angelica Project, a fundraiser for the San Diego Opera. This collaboration with the San Diego Symphony and members of the San Diego Opera Chorus raised over $7500 for the Opera.

Since 2009. Rebecca
is on the faculty of the International Lyric Academy, teaching voice and Italian lessons to the American students who come over to Italy to participate and learn. She has also sung concerts and recitals in New York City, London, Edinburgh, and various cities in Italy as well as locally here in California and Florida. Rebecca received her Bachelor in Music degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She is currently working on her Masters thesis for a Masters in Music Education from the University of Florida. *** Lesson Details ***
Lessons are tailored to the individual student's initial abilities. In all genres of music it is important to breathe well, have breath support, communicate the emotion and character of the song, and eliminate vocal bad habits. These issues are different for everyone.

I teach a classical Italian technique of breath support and beautiful tone, and these techniques can be applied to all musical styles.

The student will be assigned and choose songs to learn and work on as we incorporate the techniques into the songs and vocal exercises.

Piano lessons and Italian lessons are also available from ages 5 and up.

*** Studio Equipment ***
CD player, 7' Boston grand piano, digital recorder

*** Travel Equipment ***
Yamaha keyboard.

*** Specialties ***
Voice, classical, pop, Broadway, opera, Italian, piano, music theory,
audition preparation. I specialize in opera but sing many styles, including pop, classical, and musical theatre; I teach all styles in piano.

About Fawn
"Make one stop at the music shop!"
Fawn is not your typical music coach. As a recent Billboard hit recording artist & coaching 21 years, Fawn immediately gets to your goals & together you reach them. What you learn becomes part of you & that's the key to success. Whether you're beginner, advanced, special needs, have a short term issue, long term issue or even damaged vocal chords, whatever your situation, Fawn can handle it all successfully :) Not just in voice, but also in any difficult musical area including songwriting, performance, recording, piano & more.

In Los Angeles, Fawn is the music and entertainment industry's coach known as the one who "gets the job done." Clients have included Grammy and Oscar winners as well as vocalists and actors from The Voice, American Idol, Disney, America's Got Talent, Nickelodeon, X-Factor an
d many others. She has been producing music and vocals in the recording studio, coaching voice, piano, songwriting, rap writing, performance, studio, jazz, blues, classical, pop and artist development for the past 20 years. She was operatically trained by Juilliard instructor Sylvia Bagley, trained as a jazz singer at world re-known Berklee College of Music, where she won several songwriting awards, and was R & B/Pop trained by Vocal Coach To The Stars, Seth Riggs. In 2010 she had a #6 Billboard hit dance song, which she wrote and sang and 2 top 10 hits in 2016. She has written, recorded and performed songs in several different languages for a variety of films, television shows, and commercials such as Nickelodeon's Hollywood Heights, The Natalee Holloway Story, Spike Lee Productions, Barbie, Ponds, Target, Ford, Mazda, Pontiac, The Guiding Light, The Young and The Restless. MTV and several others. Fawn has also sung, written and played in many different styles from Jazz/Blues to Classical to Pop to children's to Opera.

Fawn is a very fun, yet honest and straight-forward coach. She loves working with adults and children, and considers lessons a 'team effort to reach her students' goals. Being that music and the entertainment business are her career and life, she is current and relevant, yet has plenty of old school training to be well rounded and help students build a strong foundation. Music and the entertainment business are her life, and she loves helping people reach their goals and meet their dreams. She has released 5 albums, several singles, won numerous awards and worked with such talents as Grammy winners Lalah Hathaway and Paula Cole, Meredith Brooks, Vampire Diaries Kat Grahm, BT, Jeff Goldblum, Right Said Fred, Ed Townsend, QD3, Club Nuveau's Val Watson, Robbie Benson and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Carol Channing, Kevin Sorbo, Pink, Joss Stone, David Guetta, Katy Perry, Moby, Dionne Warwick, James Torme', David Foster, Thelma Houston, David Pomeranz, War and countless others. She has also worked with Kevin Costner, Alexandra Paul, David Marshall Grant, Florence Henderson, Jay Leno, Hulk Hogan, Darryl Hannah, Tommy Lee, Martin Lawrence, Magic Johnson, Pamela Anderson, Jermaine Dupri, Rae Dawn Chong, Eva Longoria, Joan Rivers, Erik Estrada, John Amos, and others appearing with them in film, TV and benefits for worthy causes.

Over the years, Fawn has been known to bring students into her inner circle, so they can gain more experience and exposure, taking them to red carpets, events and even putting them up onstage to perform. She remembers having piano, voice and songwriting coaches, and being frustrated in voice because instructors were not addressing issues that needed to be addressed. This is why she creates a positive and comfortable, safe environment so students can open up and progress quickly. Fawn moves straight to the heart of the matter and gets whatever needs work figured out, so students can move on to what their goals and dreams are. She has helped actors be able to sing parts for their TV shows, helped popular bands be able to have good stage performances and presence with precision dancing and singing and has helped vocalists find their true voice. She is able to get piano students as young as 5 to a high-level Concerto level of playing with in 3 years, completely reading the pieces on their own. The youngest person she has ever taught was 3 years old and blind. The oldest person she has ever taught so far taught was 89 years old, after suffering a stroke. She was able to help her get her voice back within 20 minutes of her first lesson. Fawn also does vocal rehabilitation, vocal therapy, and music therapy. She has worked with special needs children with Downs Syndrome, ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pit Hopkins Disease and more. As far as being a songwriter, Fawn generally writes words and music at the same time but she has also written lyrics and music separately, as well as composed instrumental pieces. Fawn trained with Pat Pattison and Grammy winning Lyricist Marty Panzer in lyric writing and she is a master at producing, recording and editing vocals, and is happy to help you with your recording projects, as she owns Terrace Recording Studios in Los Angeles, CA.

From jazz improv to skilled classical, Fawn covers it all. She makes sure you have proper fingering, technique, timing and theory and does it in such a fun way you hardly notice that it's work at all! If you want to experiment with chords or accompany your singing or learn to accompany another vocalist, she covers it! If you want to compose or write songs, she's got you! If you want to learn to record your own pieces, she knows that too! I highly recommend Fawn to any one who is serious about their craft and their career!

Hollywood Film and Broadway Actress/Singer now in Silicon Valley has coached hundreds of students: performers, engineers, and business people. Marie teaches Accent Reduction exclusively and has an uncanny passion for the work.

A lot of patience, encouragement, and positive support with a splash of fun is the best environment to transform your self-consciousness to self-confidence.

Uniquely as an Asian-American actress, many of my roles required me to speak many languages and to put on a foreign accent that would convince a global audience. Using the IPA, the international phonetic alphabet, I applied a solid technique in decoding an accent and then applying it to my voice. Having worked with foreign-born scientists, engineers, and business people, I apply the same technique.

If you feel your English is holding you back and tired of people saying, “What did you say?”, I want to help and guide you.

Before your first lesson:
We'll have an initial meet & greet ...

About Marie
A native Californian, Marie is most known for her starring role in Warner Bros’ THE ART OF WAR as Julia with Wesley Snipes. Marie was handpicked by producer Cameron MacIntosh at her first professional audition for the Broadway show MISS SAIGON. Acting in films that have grossed over $400M, she has worked with Oscar, Tony, and Grammy award winning directors, producers and talent with companies such as Paramount, Fox and Warner Brothers. Has worked with talent with both Michael Mann and Oliver Stone twice each, Mark Wahlberg, and Ben Affleck.

Marie, as founder of a performing arts conservatory in downtown LA, has taught voice to hundreds of children for 10 years. Hollywood studios often called the conservatory to find talent including DreamWork’s Memoirs of a Geisha. Notable alumni include Monica Parales (Nickelodeon star, recording
artist), Melissa Reyes (Who’s the Next Pussycat ) and Nikki Soohoo (Peter Jackson’s Lovely Bones).
Having studied linguistics at UCLA and with the best voice teachers in the country from the Berklee College of Music to the Cleveland Institute of Music, Marie has clear knowledge of the anatomy of the voice, the articulators, and the specificity in creating phonemes. Her undergraduate foundation in Engineering and a graduate degree in Business uniquely positions her to coach clients working in those fields.

she is money oriented/CLOCK WATCHING and concern about filling the time than having any usefull teaching content. On the first lesson she told me 3 times that she is raising money for her new LCD and I wanted to help!! Who does this!!

She bragged about her skills in accent reduction and 3 days she spent on analysing. BS. She is lying to your face when she didnt even spent 5 minutes.

I had an emergency on my first session, and she did nothing to make it up. Instead, she marked it as missed, and txt me that she doesnt know how to override it!!!! ( she could have not mark it as missed!!!! In first place) . Then she told me on second session, there is nothing she can do about it( really!!??? U cant even do a gesture offer to spend some time!!??). Then she is telling me she is working on amillion dollar deal, and she doesnt need 36$ :)))) and right after she asked if I wanted to help on lcd fund raising!! We had 10-15 min on actuall lesson which has no content. total BS.

I feel future students need to know about this. If she want to interpret this that im being a herk thats totally fine. Thats my civil duty to put it out there what my experience was.
