Kathryn K I am happy to be offering actors, performers and speakers private sessions to strengthen and ignite your work. Actors; we will address technique for film, stage, on camera work, audition technique, monologue, scene study, script analysis, self tapes and sessions that educate and support actors and performers to work in the industry. We will address you. Speakers: I offer one on one coaching in studio and online, offering tools to empower the speaker or executive to communicate with authenticity and confidence. I have worked with people from almost industry you can name. Many of my students work with me to overcome years of shyness. This work helps them speak more comfortably and confidently. I am so happy about this. Most of my actors and performers secure roles, agents and are accepted to the universities they desire, incl
uding but not limited to; NYU Tisch, Carnegie Mellon, Oxford, USC, UCLA and Chapman, to name a few.
I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television Artists and Actors Equity Association, a Critics Circle Award Winning Actor and Songwriter. I am always a working artist. I have worked as a producer in film and commercials and have packaged properties from inception to completion. I am committed to helping artists experience their craft in a supportive, safe and challenging environment. I am really nice. I am most influenced by Stanislavsky and Lee Strasberg. I studied at HB Studio, Mark Monroe Studios and Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. I teach communication skills using tools that actors know to help professionals outside of show business communicate effectively and freely. It is extremely inspiring for people who are not in the arts for a living.
You can see my actors on shows such as, HBO's, Thirteen Reasons Why, WestWorld, Blue Jasmine, Touching Home, (too many to name) and productions at Equity theatres throughout the country and countless National commercials. Most have joined SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity. When you study acting / singing performance w/ me you'll learn how to navigate the business because you must know how.
Auditions!! They are definitely the most difficult and nerve wracking part of being an actor or singer, right? Booking work means your audition has to be as good as opening night. Auditioning is about preparation and preparation takes consistent support. Look, showbiz is not a business about being alone. Artists thrive when working together. We are a collaborative bunch and collaborating to make sure you're ready and organized for your auditions makes sense. Stop trying to muscle through this necessary step alone. No one who works consistently does that! They ask for help. ASK FOR HELP!! Solidify your acting choices so you don't have to worry about them the day before your audition. Know your prep so you can internally drop into it when the casting director says, "Whenever you're ready." Have your music material and performance choices prepared ahead of time. BE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. Work with me when your agent sends you your sides so you show up READY. Know your lines. It's OK if your struggling with memorization. Let's figure out How YOU memorize. Let me coach you for online audition submissions. If we are working virtually I will coach while you are taping yourself to submit your online audition. It works! Let me collaborate with on script analysis in order for you to you understand your material before you audition. Take your work seriously so you bring your most intelligent and inspiring work to the audition rooms. You'll be bringing the agents, casting directors, directors, producers and writers the inspiration they crave regarding their beloved projects. Do that and you're gonna book. I know you can work and I can't wait to make it happen with you. About Kathryn Kathryn is a member of the Sag-Aftra and Actors Equity and BMI and is a Critics Circle Award Winner. Gil Gross, Host The Gil Gross Show Radio, ABC "I have loved Kathryn's music from the day I first heard her sing, but even being a fan of her recordings did not prepare me for seeing her perform live. She is a great live performer holding her audience willing captives to each turn of a melody and the drama of every lyric. She more than sings. She inhabits a song and involves each member of the audience in its drama, joy or sorrow. There are performers for whom a performance is a night out. When Kathryn performs its a lifetime shared with us in a single evening. If you want to merely hear some tunes, there are many people who will do. If you want a real experience in music, there is Kathryn. I have taught acting to small children, teens, and adults in community, private, and collegiate settings. I taught acting at the legendary Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City. My love of the arts has enabled me to study and perform in various cities throughout the US; including Los Angeles, where I studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, to Europe, Mexico, South America; then back to New York City, where I earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School.
I currently work professionally as an actor, singer, and TV and radio host. I've been fortunate enough to work in film, TV, theater, musical theater, hosting, commercials, improv, and voice-overs. I am also a vocally trained mezzo-soprano. Because I am still a working artist, I can not only teach you craft
, but can assist you in making the right choices to navigate your own way in the business. I offer private coaching to actors in theater and film, and singers in the US and abroad. I would love to share my knowledge and experience with you.

I went to Pensacola Catholic High and graduated in 2003. I then attended and Auburn University, where I became a Christian, and graduated in 2007. Once I finished, I went overseas to teach English and do missions. I taught in Thailand from 2003-2007 and then in China from 2012-2016. I have been teaching since that time and am back home now to get my Master's degree in TESOL. I enjoy teaching people and watching their confidence grow as they learn new skills and develop new abilities. My teaching style is relaxing but challenging; as much as possible, I encourage and motivate students to have a love of learning, not just of this subject but of learning in general.
I am an artist and teacher with 15 years experience, trained in many artistic mediums teaching to both children and adults from a wide range of diverse backgrounds or experience levels.
Tell me what you want to learn to do, and I will customize your time in my art studio so that you can reach your artistic vision by growing your skills step by step.
I have a contagious enthusiasm and warmth and am interested in building relationships with students over time. My favorite thing in the world is to create a supportive environment where my students are excited to make art they love.
In addition to teaching lessons, I am a working artist, a school teacher, as well as a guest teaching artist with local organizations like camps, senior centers, and non-profits, etc.
I took painting lessons about 10 years ago and haven’t done anything since. I brought a 1/2 finished painting. Maggie was great helping me set up and seeing where I was and what I remembered. Then showed me some techniques to help get me going. I’m looking forward to our next lesson.

Maggie is an exceptional teacher who has her classroom management skills down to a tee. It’s amazing to watch her command a classroom full of children while remaining sweet and never losing her cool. She was a great mentor and I learned a lot about art education from her!
My name is Thomas and want to increase your love for mathematics. I am a civil engineer with a minor in mathematics. I also want to teach you the basic math skills that you will use in your everyday life. Every time I want you to learn something new or gain positive improvements in the math field. Your improvements and gains are my greatest joy. I believe that my help and assistance will be a great way to strengthen you into a successful math scholar.
First and foremost I want to congratulate you for choosing to follow a path in the Arts! Music is one of the most sacred skills humans possess for no other species on the planet truly comes close to mimicking this treasured ability.
My mission is to help guide you on your quest to making music. I ask very little in return but your full satisfaction in knowing you made the right decision today. Should you accept our time together will be well spent focusing on your strengths in music and eliminating the weaknesses.
I invite you to listen to music, explore different genres and make your mind up as to what you would like to play. Sound is everything so that is my first goal and the hardest to achieve being from a distance. My anecdotes will prove to be useful in getting you to produce the best possible tone quality on the
instrument. Technique is what truly unlocks all doors in music having the ability to play anything comes from scale practice and patterns. Metronomes are a vital part of your success.
Finally reading and basic music theory is the essential skill that separates men from minnows in the sense of making music consistent. The discipline necessary to do this is minimal but important. I trust that you will excel in my class because my methods are tried and true. If at the end of the first lesson you feel you will not progress on your mission with me I completely understand but do think that will be unlikely as I want to share with you my deepest thoughts on how this can be done and in return you will receive the best education possible.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to providing you with some great lessons!

"Aleksander helped my son prepare for Regents Exams in Math (Algebra, Geometry and Trig.), English and SAT. The results were spectacular. He graduated hig
h school with 98% average in Math and English. He scored above 1500 on the SAT and was accepted into a school of his choice with a scholarship. Aleksander guided us through with college application process, helped fill out FAFSA, and helped my son select a major he is happy with. Great instructor! Great person!"
"Alex helped me with my College English/Writing and Accounting courses. His lessons were vigorous, but fun and very engaging. Thanks to him my grade went f
rom C to A.
I was so happy with the progress that I asked him to tutor my niece in high school math. Again, he surpassed all expectations. She ended up having one of the highest grades in her class.
I wholeheartedly recommend him!"
"Daniel, do you know how to solve this problem?
f(x) =(3x-2)/(2x+1), x=3 linear approximation f(2.90)"

"Isabela is a hard working and very serious teacher. Her love of learning carries through in her lessons."
"Mozhgan is an amazing tutor!! She tailors the course to you pace and level so that you can move as fast or as slow as you want, and constantly asks for fe
edback. Her course structure is very organized, and she gives the student time to understand the concepts very clearly. She reviews what both student and teacher went over in the beginning as well so we're constantly building knowledge instead of just learning new things. She also does the EXCELLENT JOB to give cultural context for the lessons, which helps understand why certain words are used in certain ways.
I met her in person, but she is so flexible and based on my request, she sometimes helps me with online tutoring. I really appreciate her for both the online sessions and in person classes because sometimes traveling is hard for me after work. She is flexible and will work to make sure nothing gets in the way of learning. I am really lucky to have had Ms. Mozhgan Hudiburgh as my knowledgeable Persian Farsi tutor."
"Very patient and knows how to connect with her student"
"My daughter described her lesson as excellent, thorough and fun. She is looking forward to future lessons. I could not be more pleased."

I tutor many students for the SAT and GRE. …
