Using videos and reading practice, I can help you learn to find where the English vowels are in the mouth and how English speakers pronounce, connect and flow when speaking. I'll be honest, you have to devote time daily (10-15 min a day) to practicing. You will be retraining your articulation muscles and daily practice is the best method. I can't practice for you.

In Los Angeles, Fawn is the music and entertainment industry's coach known as the one who "gets the job done." Clients have included Grammy and Oscar winners as well as vocalists and actors from The Voice, American Idol, Disney, America's Got Talent, Nickelodeon, X-Factor an
d many others. She has been producing music and vocals in the recording studio, coaching voice, piano, songwriting, rap writing, performance, studio, jazz, blues, classical, pop and artist development for the past 20 years. She was operatically trained by Juilliard instructor Sylvia Bagley, trained as a jazz singer at world re-known Berklee College of Music, where she won several songwriting awards, and was R & B/Pop trained by Vocal Coach To The Stars, Seth Riggs. In 2010 she had a #6 Billboard hit dance song, which she wrote and sang and 2 top 10 hits in 2016. She has written, recorded and performed songs in several different languages for a variety of films, television shows, and commercials such as Nickelodeon's Hollywood Heights, The Natalee Holloway Story, Spike Lee Productions, Barbie, Ponds, Target, Ford, Mazda, Pontiac, The Guiding Light, The Young and The Restless. MTV and several others. Fawn has also sung, written and played in many different styles from Jazz/Blues to Classical to Pop to children's to Opera.

Fawn is a very fun, yet honest and straight-forward coach. She loves working with adults and children, and considers lessons a 'team effort to reach her students' goals. Being that music and the entertainment business are her career and life, she is current and relevant, yet has plenty of old school training to be well rounded and help students build a strong foundation. Music and the entertainment business are her life, and she loves helping people reach their goals and meet their dreams. She has released 5 albums, several singles, won numerous awards and worked with such talents as Grammy winners Lalah Hathaway and Paula Cole, Meredith Brooks, Vampire Diaries Kat Grahm, BT, Jeff Goldblum, Right Said Fred, Ed Townsend, QD3, Club Nuveau's Val Watson, Robbie Benson and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Carol Channing, Kevin Sorbo, Pink, Joss Stone, David Guetta, Katy Perry, Moby, Dionne Warwick, James Torme', David Foster, Thelma Houston, David Pomeranz, War and countless others. Over the years, Fawn has been known to bring students into her inner circle, so they can gain more experience and exposure, taking them to red carpets, events and even putting them up onstage to perform. She remembers having piano, voice and songwriting coaches, and being frustrated in voice because instructors were not addressing issues that needed to be addressed. This is why she creates a positive and comfortable, safe environment so students can open up and progress quickly. Fawn moves straight to the heart of the matter and gets whatever needs work figured out, so students can move on to what their goals and dreams are. She has helped actors be able to sing parts for their TV shows, helped popular bands be able to have good stage performances and presence with precision dancing and singing and has helped vocalists find their true voice. She is able to get piano students as young as 5 to a high-level Concerto level of playing with in 3 years, completely reading the pieces on their own. The youngest person she has ever taught was 3 years old and blind. The oldest person she has ever taught so far taught was 89 years old, after suffering a stroke. She was able to help her get her voice back within 20 minutes of her first lesson. Fawn also does vocal rehabilitation, vocal therapy, and music therapy. She has worked with special needs children with Downs Syndrome, ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pit Hopkins Disease and more. As far as being a songwriter, Fawn generally writes words and music at the same time but she has also written lyrics and music separately, as well as composed instrumental pieces. I really do enjoy every single lesson that I have with Fawn! She understands my goals and she takes them seriously as much as I do. One thing for sure is, just with a few lessons, I was able to expand my vocal range, improve my breathing, and hit notes that I never could've hit before! Fawn is definitely the instructor that you want if you actually want to see improvement in your voice.

Fawn is the only vocal teacher that’s been able to get me on pitch. I have struggled for years with other teachers and within 3 lessons she had me on pitch and I’ve been building from that ever since. Her methods and inventions work and you won’t find them any place else other than the master herself. Fawn is a true gift!

I trained for three years in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and can help you learn a system for training your own ear to hear accents, regionalisms, dialects and then feel, in your physical body, how to make shifts in how you speak and thereby how you sound. The work is not just academic, but physical, experiential and straightforward. It is enjoyable and empowering and something you will be able to easily practice on your own and apply in the day to day for quick results. I look forward to working with you!

About Claire
I hold an MFA in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts and have been teaching professionally for over ten years. I teach Acting and Auditiong to young actors (10-18 years) and I also teach Public Speaking, Voice/Speech and Accent Reduction to those looking to find more ease and power when using their voice in front of others. I have taught, directed and coached young actors who have gone on to work professionally in Film, TV and Theater and my students have been accepted to renowned conservatories and universities across the country (NYU Tisch, California Institute of the Arts, AMDA and others). I am a passionate teacher who believes in the individual and in unlocking the creative genius, the impulses, the imagination and the unique forms of expression within each of my students. In my sessions, I encourage my students to
“play” and to discover how to both lean in and tap in to what is there and then develop relaxation, ease and focus on the task at hand - a monologue, an audition, a speech or working with a text. In addition to teaching and coaching actors, I have worked extensively in the corporate worlds in areas of Voice, Speech and Presentation as a coach and have taught group classes on Public Speaking and Presentation. I have taught and coached students from China, Russia, Taiwan, Italy, Japan in addition to the U.S. Throughout the ten plus years that I have been teaching, I have helped both actors and non-actors, those in the professional business world, gain tools that lead to freedom and ease of expression when speaking in front of others, be it at an audition, an interview, giving a presentation to a board or speaking in front of thousands at a Ted Talk.

I can help you adapt your accent or dialect for an acting role or for business/professional purposes. “Accent reduction” is sort of a misnomer because what we’re really doing is learning a different accent; we all have accents. I can help you code-switch between your habitual dialect and one that you feel is more suitable for your situation.

About Erin
I am an actor, speech & dialect coach, and acting teacher. I had steady freelance teaching and coaching jobs for 3 years in NYC, as well as steady acting work in NYC and Chicago theatre for 5 years total.

I moved to LA from Cambridge, MA, where I earned my Master's in Acting from the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard. I am certified in unarmed stage combat as well.

I have coached privately and for theatre productions ranging from world-premieres to revivals of Pinter plays to musicals. I love working with actors of all experience levels!

I had to learn an Irish dialect for a big audition I was called in for last minute. My friend suggested Erin to help with dialect coaching and audition coaching, and man, I'm so grateful. With Erin's training and expertise, I was able to learn the Irish dialect in an hour and nailed the audition! She has experience with multiple acting and audition techniques...she's able to speak multiple acting "languages". If you're looking for any audition coaching or dialect coaching, I definitely recommend Erin! She knows what she's doing!

I have worked with Erin on several occasions, because she is so wonderful at her job! She has helped me to prepare for numerous auditions, many of which have gone very well as a result. She is an incredible actor herself, and she uses her talent and expertise to help me be the best actor I can be. Finding my super objective in a monologue or scene, the different tactics, focus, awareness, groundedness... these are all things she has helped me to do to strengthen my own work. She is down to earth and open, which makes working with her really easy and comfortable. Performing my work in front of somebody else can be very difficult, because I often question what the viewer will think of me. Not only does Erin help me fight that fear, she helps me find the gratitude and joy in getting to perform. I highly recommend Erin as an acting coach! She’s fantastic!

Favorably and extensively reviewed and proven to be effective by students, the accent-reduction program developed from Burrkowsky's (1969) multi-media method. I have taught this subject for over five years for public and private causes, such as library, individuals, and language schools. My emphasis for pronunciation is a scientific, comprehensive overview and treatment of the various sounds, rhythms, inflections, and patterns the spoken language integrates.

The goal is to develop a comprehensive, systematic sound profile based on lesson recordings using wave monitoring software. Also, a crash course option exists based more on broad familiarization than intensive practice-orientation. The course encompasses more than 135 pdf and word files, along with multimedia items.

I have developed a proven, groundbreaking, unique, fun and interactive approach to reduce, and in some cases eliminate the foreign accent completely. How you ask? Being a singing teacher for over 15 years, I have always found it fascinating when my foreign students would be able to sing a standard American song with NO accent. Somehow, singing completely eliminated their accent. Since that discovery, I was determined to find out why and how. Based on my research, I have created a very easy to understand method that can dramatically reduce the foreign accent.

Coming from an immigrant family myself, and being fluent in three languages (English, Spanish, Italian), I can relate to the challenges foreigners face when attempting to speak in a neutralized American accent. This can be holding you back from advancing your career.

This is one of my absolute passions! Did you know that “regionally specific dialects” change approximately every 20 miles? Part of my vocal training included a deep dive into dialects or accents, how to master them and how to lose them. This is so much easier than you may think! It’s all about small modifications, mostly in the mouth and jaw that can completely change the way you sound.

How many sessions you need really depends on how much work you’re willing to put in between sessions. I can give you the keys, but this is really a case of practice makes perfect. If you find you’re not booking because of your accent, let me help you master “LA speak” otherwise known as the “non-regionally specific U.S. dialect”.

Hint: I’ve lived in 8 different countries so far and in the last month I’ve had 2 of my long time acting coaches say “Wow… I would have never known you weren’t from LA!”

About Hunter
Hunter loves to help new performers and people looking to break into the biz, as well as seasoned actors who want to up-level their career or deepen their craft. She has been coaching actors since 2008 and has a unique combination of experience and training to help you launch your career and create work that stands out to casting directors & agents and to make self-tapes that shine above the rest.

She has spent more than 20 years working in the entertainment industry in 8 countries. This includes modeling, commercials & print work in Athens & Istanbul, acting in Toronto & London, UK, and even screen writing, before diving into the big market of Los Angeles that she now calls home.

With 10 years of vocal training (primarily spoken level voice & breath work for actors) voiceovers has also been a big part of her career, recording voices o
n more than 400 projects to date.

Hunter's love for the craft brought her to study in NYC with legendary acting coach Uta Hagen: a process that transformed her approach and led her to such roles as Blanche in Streetcar Named Desire and Karen in David Mamet's iconic Hollywood satire, Speed The Plow. She has also appeared on screen in The Bandit Hound II with Lou Ferrigno, Paul Sorvino & Catherine Bell & on TV in Mutant X, Doc, Singles Court, PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal and has hosted for HGTV. Currently she is voicing 5 characters (English language dubbing) on the mega hit TV series Babylon Berlin.

After my first 30 minutes into my Discovery call with Hunter I knew she was a match for me. She just got it! She understands the dynamics of cutting through B.S. that doesn't matter in order to get you to stay focused and on track towards goals that DO matter! After explaining to her a lot of my roadblocks and huge gigantic goals/dreams she immediately embraced even some of the not so fun experiences I shared and encouraged me to see them all as part of my journey. I highly encourage working with Hunter because what I think has helped her and her clients reach their own success is that she is a coach that works with you where you are no judgements or blaming. She can see your potential in you inspiring you even closer to your dreams. I feel more confident than ever that I will be able to achieve some really lofty goals through working with her and I can't wait to get even further into our coaching sessions!

In one coaching session Hunter completely changed the way I thought about my business, for the better! As a coach, Hunter is clear, concise and highly intuitive. Her aim is true and exacting. Hunter made me feel supported and confident, after our session I was ready to take immediate action after a lifetime of doubting myself and procrastination. I felt strong and motivated to grow my business. She had an uncanny knack of knowing exactly what to say to abate my fears and trepidation's. Investing in coaching with Hunter is a true investment in YOURSELF. If you're tired of wallowing, take this step into solutions, you won't regret it! You will learn more in one session than in five years of therapy.
