I was the top AP Chem student in my high school class, and received a 4 on the AP Chem exam.

As an electrical & computer engineer, I've had extensive study in chemistry and other core sciences. I can help with conceptual understanding, study techniques, and test prep (including AP exams).

I took 5 dance lessons with Bella and she was fantastic!! I am a beginner and she taught me a whole lyrical dance in just 5 sessions. She knows exactly what she is doing and she really taught me this dance at the exact pace I needed. Her schedule was flexible and it was very easy to pick the dates and times for our lessons. I really recommend taking lessons with Bella because she will provide you with a great dance and learning experience!

I met Robby in college and he was a really good guitar player. I wanted to learn from him as much as I could. He actually took the time to set me up with lessons and gave me very specific stuff to practice. He would check in with me every couple weeks and see if I had any questions and how I was doing. I moved and had to stop lessons for a year or two. A few years later I called him and asked to get together for a couple lessons. He was blown away at how much I improved and was so genuinely happy for me. We still talk every week and if I ever have a guitar question I call him. He's my friend, and he's gonna be a famous guitar player some day.

I started learning from Rob 5 years ago. I didn't think he'd want to spend time teaching me because I didn't know anything about guitar and he was so good. I was so wrong! Since our first lesson, he treated me like a friend, and 5 years later and we are great friends. I started off being able to play a couple notes, and now I can pay solos and songs and learn just about anything I want! Thanks Rob! Take Lessons from this guy! He's the Best!

My brother told me he found this great guitar teacher, and I was skeptical because he has been playing guitar for a long time and has never really sounded good. Two weeks after he mentioned him, all of the sudden he didn't suck any more. He was actually kinda good. So I tried a lesson with him and Wow! Within my first lesson I was already able to play a song! I can't afford lessons since I'm in school right now, but my brother still takes lessons with him. Even though I no longer take lessons with him I still call Rob and ask him questions about guitar all of the time, and he always makes time for me. I don't know where my brother or I would be without him. Great Teacher. Great Friend.

I provide classical instruction in portraiture, still life and landscape in your studio or mine. In this traditional approach to drawing and painting, what will be taught and focused upon are perspective, value and composition in order for the student to develop strong visual language skills. The program of study begins with a specific focus on drawing, since drawing is the foundation upon which all great traditional art is built. Throughout this training, emphasis will be placed on accuracy, or more specifically, seeing and rendering correctly such things as line quality, hard and soft edges, proportion, positive and negative space through abstract form and the use of the full range of values.

About Jeff

I'm a graduate of Dean College in Franklin, MA and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where I majored in art history and studio art with a focus on portrait painting and illustration. I continued further study at the Andeeva Portrait Academy in Sante Fe New Mexico, the Los Angeles Acad

"I hired Daniel to help my daughter prepare for an assessment test. They only had 2 months to prepare and many of the subjects were being introduced to her for the first time. He had his work cut out for him. But he did a phenomenal job. He methodically organized each subject and proceeded to cover it thoroughly before moving on to the next. He had the right balance of persistence and understanding to keep my daughter stay focused and, at the same time, build up her confidence. I'm happy to report that she ended up passing the exam and she credits him for this result."

"Relaxed but perceptive and capable

Having read Christopher's bio, I sensed that there was something special about him, and that he was the right one for our son who has some learning challenges, particularly in the area of Math. I believe it is very important a tutor connects not only on an academic level but also where there can be some light hearted conversation. Christopher arrived punctually for our first meeting and his assessment of our son. In advance of that meeting I had explained to Christopher what the challenges are and what our collective objectives are. As soon as I saw him, he appeared to relaxed but confident. After an initial introduction, I stepped away to let Christopher and our son become acquainted and he immediately set about establishing some common ground which happened to be a particular sport. No more than Christopher, our son is also very perceptive and despite the fact that he initially resisted the idea of any tutor, his words after this first meeting were "I can work with him"! Its obviously early days yet, but so far so good!"

"Maurice is an outstanding educator, an educator that makes students feel capable and confident in accomplishing whatever academic goals they may have or struggle with. He puts all his focus on what students first need to learn in order to get to their goal. He's one of the most understanding educators I've had the pleasure of working with. His patience, regardless of the students difficulty on grasping the academic concept is astonishing. If a student isn't understanding one learning style, he'll try a different way until the student does."

In just two weeks he helped raise my 7th grade son's algebra grade from a 36 to a 90! It doesn't get any better than that. We are already excited for our 5th grade son to work with Daniel in the future. Thank you Daniel for becoming a terrific addition to our family!"

"Julia creates her own curriculum which is better than anything my daughters receive in their schools.
I see marked improvements in their grades for this past year, and my eldest is actually skipping fourth grade as a result of lessons. I am astounded as to my girls' progress, and greatly appreciative of our tutor's expertise.
Her patient, methodical approach to teaching is why I see us remaining with her for all of our educational instruction. She has already taught arithmetic to my youngest (3rd grade), and algebra to my eldest (starting 5th this sept!), and is proceeding with more advanced math with no issue whatsoever. I cannot recommend her enough."
