I teach students how to read and how to increase their reading comprehension with different methods of acting out the plots and making them come alive with students.
With my two Bachelor's degrees in Music Composition and Technology, I began tutoring students in piano, voice, and composition as it was part of my training. I also have experience writing and editing essays, books, and more for several independent clients. I have experience writing my own books as

I've been teaching Algebra for 10 years. I strive to show students the beauty behind mathematics and encourage them to enjoy it. I work with students at their own pace with the main focus being on developing the confidence to be able to understand what questions are asking and how to solve problems. I prefer to spend the first two lessons testing a student's confidence, strengths, and weaknesses before I select the teaching materials. I cannot wait to help you reach your math goals!
I am a Ph.D. student in Statistics and earned a Bachelor's in mathematics from St. Norbert College in 2016. I have been tutoring for over 10 years now, starting with a my work as a Program Staff at the local Boy's and Girl's Club. Now I just enjoy working with students one-on-one and in small gro

I have about 10 years of experience tutoring middle school, high school, or college-level mathematics, as well as a B.S. and M.A. in math. I have helped students with subjects in algebra, college algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. Additionally, I have offered assistance with standardized tests such as the SAT. I have also taught high school and college math for a year each. Over these years, I've learned how to be more effective in breaking through any confusion that students had. I will hone in on all that's challenging you and work to refine your skills. I know that math can seem overly theoretical and abstract sometimes and as a result, it is crucial in making the concepts more relatable.
Greetings students and hobbyists! My name is Ozzie. I have an M.A. in math from CSU Fullerton (I graduated in '14). I have about 10 years of experience tutoring math and about 2 years of teaching math. I have also played guitar for about 15 years. I have been playing in a church choir for about

I have tutored stats for over five years. The key to stats is that it is different from most other math and it usually starts with a section on probability which is particularly difficult to understand. The key is to break the material down into its simplest terms so that it doesn't seem so foreign and to understand how the sections relate to each other so you can identify question types more easily.
I have tutored all sections of both the ACT and SAT as well as many other subjects for over five years and have logged over 3,000 tutoring hours as well as over 650 five star ratings through other tutoring services. I tutor because I love the challenge of helping people understand new ideas and e

Awarded Graduate Assistant, Humanities Department from Peabody Conservatory
I have spent the last several years tutoring English at the college and graduate school levels. While a student at Tufts University studying Early Modern English Literature, I began to tutor the English language, literature, and writing. I have since tutored for Longy School of Music and Peabody Conservatory, where I held a graduate assistantship in the Humanities and ran the Conservatory Writing Center. In my tutoring sessions, students will explore English literature, either as a companion to in-school curricula or as an independent project. I help students to approach complex literature with confidence; with me they improve critical and analytical thinking, research techniques, and essay writing.
I am a violin and viola teacher born and raised in the Baltimore area. I have been teaching private lessons and group classes for the last eight years and studied both performance and pedagogy at some of the best music schools in the country. I most recently completed a Graduate Performance Diplo
She did a wonderful job teaching Tara. Tara's viola technique really improved this year thanks to Dorothy's patience and hard work. Dorothy never missed a lesson and always came prepared for the next challenge. I must admit that I was hesitant to find a teacher using an on-line service but, Ihave been extremely pleased with our instructor and will miss Dorothy's guidance in our viola lessons.
Dorothy has fabulous teacher. She is easy to learn from and doesnt get anoyed when you dont get things on the first try. This is great because as an adult I dont learn as quickly. Also, I am a college student (age 20) and she works with my school and work schedules. I really cant say how pleased I am with the quality of her teaching.
Thank you for what you have done for Mechelle so far. She enjoys coming to lessons and feels very comfortable working with you. And it's nice to know that she's getting the attention and help that she needs to be successful in learning the viola.
