Have you ever been concerned about your recent SAT test scores? Have you ever wanted to score within the top percentiles? If so, you've come to the right place. I have a host of strategies, tactics and tips that exploit every nook, cranny and loophole in the math, reading, writing and physics portions of the tests. In a tentative amount of time, your scores will ameliorate by the hundreds as I demonstrate fun ways to learn the 'hackneyed' vocabulary that plague sentence completion, effective ways to solve the most 'aberrant' math problems, and novel ways to improve your efficacy in the most 'monotonous' passages in the reading section. I also provide the most effective study methods that you will need for your upcoming test and I bring a host of enlightening study guides and references that give pertinent practice tests and a gamut example problems. With my strategies at your disposal, it'll be a breeze when you get that score you deserve and 'stalemate the SAT'.

Your Reading and Writing SAT scores will shine after our sessions together! Even if you don't usually do well on standardized tests, we will practice the essential SAT strategies until you see significant improvement.

I have over 8 years experience of working with students. Lessons with me are relaxed and fun, but still structured. I introduce students to each section of the SAT with a focus on understanding and the best approaches to achieve high accuracy. This covers both the foundational skills in English and Math as well as techniques to simplify the questions that have deliberately been crafted to be confusing and trip students up. I will also go over different shortcuts that College Board builds into the questions to make them easy to solve. My students laugh at me, when I tell them that it pays to be lazy on the SAT, but one of my favorite moments is when I see the lightbulb click on behind student's eyes with a certain amount of disbelief as I show them just how simple problems can be to solve. As the sessions continue, I will gradually shift into time management techniques and dealing with test anxiety.

I'm a Ph. D chemist trained in a prestigious US university and extensive experience in teaching and tutoring in high school sciences, freshman General Chemistry, sophomore Organic Chemistry, and advanced chemistry courses.

Through one-on-one and group tutoring, the subjects will be presented in a way that caught interest, clarified difficult topics and led student(s) through complex areas, and put knowledge into context so that its relevance was apparent.

As a chemistry educator, especially one who is tutoring at the high school and undergraduate levels, I will bring a lot of energy to my student(s). If I can't get excited about my subject, why should my student(s)? Another important element of my tutoring is encouraging reasoned thinking and rational problem solving, especially in developing logical arguments.
