I have been a classroom teacher for 11 years. I got my degree in elementary education. I have taught 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. I'm best with younger grades. I can help with homework or plan a lesson over any concept you are having trouble with. I like to make learning fun. I have taught math, science, language arts, and social studies.

About Kevin
I truly enjoy teaching. I've taught in the public school classroom for 11 years. Teaching music is so so much FUN! And it should be fun for the students to learn. When I'm teaching I tell all my students that if they don't enjoy and smile about something, then we need to change something.

I would love to start lessons with you soon.

I was out of town when my 15-year old son had his lesson with Kevin, so I sent a text to my son to find out how it went. "He is the best guitar teacher ever!!" my son replied. I think that says it all.

Ms. Consuelo was very kind and patient with my daughter and helped her to understand concepts I was not able to help her with. She prepares assignments in advance to prepare the student and takes her time in explaining it in a way that they can really understand the math problems at the core. Thank you so much for helping my daughter again, Consuelo! We look forward to working with you again in the near future!!

I tutor children from K-5. I like the Singapore math method and experience with common core math from K-5. I am a big believer of Kumon style of math that some facts just simply have to have the repeated practice in order to gain fluency which is very similar to learning another language but I make the learning an enjoyable experience.

About Kana
I love teaching especially language as I am passionate about language. I also speak Chinese and currently learning Spanish. I have been teaching Japanese about 20 years from the age of 2 to adults. I do not just teach but I also try to give you the culture/background of the Japanese language. I believe that helps for many people to master the vocabulary, listening, writing and speaking. I also have worked with companies of understanding about the business culture in Japan.

Some of the issues with most math students is that they tend to skip steps when solving any problem. I aim to teach students how to tackle any mathematical problem with surgical precision. This way tackling math problems becomes so easy to the point where you will ace your next exam.

About Cris
Have you been searching through countless online videos in deep interest of learning a new instrument without any luck? Perhaps you need a little bit of guidance while you're slowly becoming the best musical version of yourself. I aim to help any piano student regardless of level to help them become independent of teaching services. As a former Berklee School of Music graduate, and in my struggles of practicing and learning music during high school I know how frustrating it can be to pay for lessons with minimal gains. In general, I aim to teach you to become independent of teachers like me.
