A recent student's SAT success story:
During a Summer intercession, the parents of a soon-to-be HS Senior hired me for SAT tutoring. He had stellar grades, shining recommendations, an elite prep school resumé... the real deal! Even so, despite SAT classes and rigorous studying, his exam scores were lackluster at best. I got to work and helped him to raise his composite score by **8 points** in a period of just 6 weeks of tutoring sessions. His previous scores were below the implied minimum for his first choice school. With my help, he brought the score up in time to use it for his application a few weeks later and ... he got in! He now attends that very school, a renowned Midwestern top-25 university.

A little about myself. I was enrolled in a top mathematical high school and won multiple mathematical olympiads starting at a young age. I graduated from university with honors and the highest departmental distinction. While at the university I served as a teaching assistant and tutored other students. I scored in the 96th percentile on the SAT. When I was an undergraduate at Trinity University, I was exempt from taking the required English courses due to my high SAT scores in reading and writing.

I teach every level and prepare students to take ACT, SAT, GRE tests. I always strive to motivate and engage my students to make the learning interesting and fun.

All my tutoring sessions include reviews of previously learned material and if possible the use of technology. I use students books but often bring extra study materials if necessary.
