I started dancing at the age of 7 in Japan. At the age of 17, I attended to Arts Educational school in England and at the age of 18, I moved to New York city to attend Joffrey Ballet school.
At the age of 20, I was accepted to Dance Theatre of Harlem in NY and danced as a professional ballerina for about 6 years. Performed many principal roles and toured all over the US and overseas.

In my class the focus will be to tailor the movement to your specific needs whilst sharing with you all my knowledge to help you grow and achieve your goals.
We will work on your technique as well as your artistry.
A beautiful dancer doesn't only have a strong technique but the ability to embody a character and convey a story through movements.
All my classes are open to all levels, if you are a beginner dancer we will take the time to go in details through every moves, if you are more advanced I will challenge your technique and artistry but most importantly we will have fun sharing our common passion for dance.

I am professional ballet teacher. I have a master’s degree of Fine Arts from a famous Vaganova Ballet Academy in Russia. I have been teaching professionally for 17 years. My lessons are customized and catered to the goals of each student. All ages welcome. I will help you improve elegant posture, transform your body and gain the strength, grace, stretch, solid foundation of ballet theory and technique while tailoring to your personal tastes and needs.
I teach ballet ( beginner, intermediate, advanced), pointe, stretch, conditioning, progressing ballet technique.

And 5-6-7-8! I've been teaching dance in various studios across NYC and New Jersey for 5 years, and for 4 years previously in Charleston, SC. My teaching philosophy is rooted in self-discovery--I'm a firm believer that technique and skill will come in tandem with self-love and confidence. I specialize in all levels across ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, contemporary improv, and conditioning & stretch. Whether you're just starting, have been dancing for years, or are rekindling your love for dance, I'm excited to get dancing with you!

In ballet, we'll start with assessing your current level and discuss the direction you want to go with ballet. A one-hour class is structured with a warm-up, "barre" -- using a sturdy chair! -- and exercises away from the barre. (90 Minute classes will be structured the same, with more exercises.) In my ballet classes, we'll use a wide range of music, depending on each student's tastes.
