I know the basics of knitting, and can teach how to work with simple patterns for hats, scarves, blankets. . .and could also teach beginner or intermediate macrame'. I'm listing it here within the closest available category. I've made macrame' friendship bracelets, necklaces, bracelets, belts, purses and wall hangings.

About Karen

I have a BA in Psychology, and an MA in Parapsychology. I studied Architecture for 3 years, and Music Education for two years. I was a National Merit Semifinalist in High School for good SAT scores, and in the Honors Society in High School and College. I play piano, percussion, flute, cello, guitar

Karen is a patient instructor. Has a relaxed home atmosphere. Made good use of the lesson time. Had appropriate practice outlined between lessons. I would recommend her.

My daughter 7yrs took lessons from Karen for 8 months. She was so patient and kind. My girl loved her and her teaching style.
I would have given 5 stars if she had got a real piano, not an electronic one.

Karen is not only a gifted teacher but an excellent listener and has an extremely easy going personality. This was my third lesson and I already "feel the love."

You will learn hand building, slab and coiling in a one on one hands on class tailored to your current skill level.

About Teresita

ART: I love making art accessible to everyone. I am passionate about helping people get in touch with the artist that lives within them. Many people think they're "not good at art" but my philosophy is that you can be good at art as long as it makes you feel something. If you enjoy it, that's good

Terri has been a great teacher with my children. She elicits cooperation without being authoritarian. My kids are always asking when class is and are super excited when she rings our doorbell. I can't imagine a better endorsement

Having a great time learning watercolor from Teresita! She's very clear with her instructions and super patient with me. She incorporates art theory into every class combined with an enjoyable exercise/piece.

About Ashwini

Hindi being a National Language Of India. Most of the parents in the USA are willing to make their children Hindi literate along with communication. I take the privilege to help them to reach their goal. As Hindi is a foreign language, it will certainly help high schoolers to raise their credits.

Excellent and engaging. Had fun.

Ashwini assumed that I was married upon meeting her, and asked me when I was getting married as soon as she learned I wasn't married. She also asked where I was getting married, even though at the time I wasn't engaged. Even when I made it apparent I wasn't engaged, she continued to refer to my boyfriend as my fiance.

She would send me political things going on in India, even though I have no interest, and it has nothing to do with the lessons I was taking from her. She asked me if my boyfriend was voting, and many personal things that shouldn't be asked of a student learning Hindi.

She often moved my scheduled time around without asking, which meant that I needed to move my schedule around in order to attend her sessions.

As a teacher she was pretty good, but some things disappointed me there too. For instance, I made a sentence in which a jeweler was a woman, and she stated that can't be correct, because there are no woman jewelers. I'm a woman engineer, and it's really sad to see such a sexist thing. Even when I attempted to ask about how you would say something about a woman jeweler, she said it was impossible. Later she said nurses could only be woman.

I have been a teacher for 6 years, teaching in a school setting as well as online with elementary-aged students. With this experience I have learned how to cater to the learning needs of individual students. Because crochet requires a certain level of fine motor skills, I start at age 8. In my crochet lessons we will start at a level that is appropriate and work at the students' pace. My lesson plans involve creating simple projects as we learn various stitches that show off their new skills.

About Meagan

I am an elementary teacher that has recently become a stay at home mom. I teach online as an English teacher and now teach crochet! 5 Questions Every Jewelry Designer Should Have An Answer For

Interested in trying your hand at jewelry design? Before you begin, consider the following 5 questions, as outlined by Nashville jewelry designer and teacher Warren F... Susan felt very unsure of herself. And unsure of her jewelry. Would people like it? Was the color mix appropriate? Was the construction secure? Was the price smart and fair? She allowed all this uncertainty to affect her design work – she had difficulty finishing pieces she was working on, starting new projects, and getting …
