Let me start off by saying that math is my FAVORITE subject! In these tutoring sessions, you will receive help with homework, prepare for tests and quizzes, and better your overall understanding of math. I teach with patience and fun because I feel that this is the key to achieving goals and inspiring a good work ethic.

My daughter in 3rd grade really enjoyed this lesson! Jessie was very nice and kind and Kira even had the opportunity to sign in the first session. These lessons are super convenient for parents that are tired of traveling in the car to non-stop places during the day. Would definitely recommend Ms. Jessie.

Patience and student confidence building are priorities. Positive reinforcement and keeping student organized when tackling any problem will help them bring on their own success.

I have 3 boys ages 7-12. Somehow Janis manages to make time to teach and read with all three before she leaves. The kids love her and more importantly respect her.
If you can get her I highly recommend it.
She covers all subjects and specializes in science by making it fun and entertaining.
5 Stars all the way!

Math and Science were my strengths in high school. I studied up through AP Calculus and took two years of physics and two years of chemistry.

I'm extremely patient when teaching mathematics. With my Master's degree in math I taught in colleges and universities. I know American and European techniques when learning math. You will learn and understand math with me and I will never make you feel stupid. I will make you feel math-confident instead.

I love teaching Math. I think math is very enjoyable and I share my happiness and knowledge, so my students could feel that also. You would probably laugh quite a few times during my Math class and leave it feeling way more confident that you could do it. I do not believe in memorizing Math, so we work on understanding and students are creating their own Math in a way. And creating a proof is a very enjoyable experience that you never forget.

I also love teaching online. There are so many wonderful tools for that now!!! For example, screen sharing. Screen sharing allows my students to see my computer screen if I'm explaining something and show me what they are working on their screens. As we progress through the class I share links on rules and definitions that my student doesn't remember or getting confused and we could work with that right away and also the notes on the class are still available on both of our computers, so it is easy to review, ask questions and explore ...
