My ballet lessons cover basics of posture, placement, alignment, and turnout. We begin practicing essentials such as positions, plies, tendus, pirouettes and more. Once the student shows proficiency in these basics, we move into more advanced movement and choreography. There is strong focus on technical precision and skill to ensure students are learning the correct foundation so they get the maximum benefit out of their ballet lessons. ...

I begin training in ballet at age 2. It was what I aspire to do! If you have any interest in ballet then this class is the class for you! This class will go over the basic ballet positions, movies, alignment, and various combinations as well as terminology.

I've been teaching ballet for over twenty years. My ballet teacher was a Bolshi alumnai. He and his dad both danced for the Bolshi before they came to America. I teach a combination of Vaganova and my own updated style to keep my students interested in the style. I use classical music and pop to help students gain a love and appreciation for the style.

Though limiting herself to coaching privately at this time, Teresa has been on the faculty for multiple dance schools and programs. Teresa has taught, performed, and choreographed extensively on both coasts and internationally. Detailed dance resume available upon request.
Because of the limitations of online coaching, Teresa requests dancers have basic training in ballet fundamentals and technique before registering for ONLINE ballet lessons.

students can either choose from the russian or italian style of ballet and will learn basic positions and placements of the body, demi barre, adagio, petit allegro, waltz, grand jete, and reverence. students will also learn terminology and work on flexibility, strength, and muscle control.
