My goals are to work on your coordination and flexibility along with proper ballet technique. All classes will be tailored to each student accordingly.

Ballet is one style I would recommend to every single athlete. Ballet teaches body awareness and control. It elongates the body, builds flexibility and stamina. I love basic/beginner level ballet because it consciously helps you focus on every muscle and part body. With ballet technique under your belt other forms of dance can be picked up easier and athletes will have better grace and quicker transitions on the playing field.

Careful private work on shape and function of the body in mechanics, musicality and image. Breaking down the language of the movement so you know what you are doing when and how to carefully develop the aspects of your dancing that are weakest or most confusing. Musicality from the moment you stand in first position. Relationship to music in the form itself and toward the music you are hearing. Turns, jumps, adagio, petite allegro, alignment, balance. Barre. Center.....

Experienced former professional ballet dancer, and specializing in the beginner/intermediate ballet classes. Everyone is welcome from kids to adults.
Lessons are customized to the needs/goals of the students.

I can teach beginners, starting from the basics to help you build a strong foundation of theory and technique.
For advanced levels we would work on your technique, posture, and artistic expression. We can work on some dances/variations if you are preparing for a competition or a performance.
