I have been teaching dance professionally for the past seven years and I have had a career in musical theatre for the past twelve years. I specialize in Tap, Theatre Dance, and Ballet. All ages and all levels are welcome! Each lesson is customized and catered to the students' specific needs. I am full of energy and passion and want my students to learn while also having fun. students can either choose from the russian or italian style of ballet and will learn basic positions and placements of the body, demi barre, adagio, petit allegro, waltz, grand jete, and reverence. students will also learn terminology and work on flexibility, strength, and muscle control.

Refine and strengthen your technique in classes taught by a Professional Dancer! Jennifer has been teaching for 10 years and holds a Bachelor's of the Arts in Dance Pedagogy from Butler University. I believe dancing should be a joyful experience and spark positivity throughout all aspects of a dancer's life. I teach tap, ballet, modern and creative movement and specialize in audition preparation and improvement in technique. I want my students to reach their potential and aspirations as a dancer while having a wonderful time!

I've been teaching ballet for over twenty years. My ballet teacher was a Bolshi alumnai. He and his dad both danced for the Bolshi before they came to America. I teach a combination of Vaganova and my own updated style to keep my students interested in the style. I use classical music and pop to help students gain a love and appreciation for the style.

My class focuses on the use and understanding of movement execution as well as ballet vocabulary. The class will start with a ballet barre, then move to center work, and across the floor. Younger students will be taught with the effective use of imagery for movement and older students will focus on the anatomy of the body. Students will be expected to bring a journal to each lesson to note vocabulary and movement combinations and review outside of lessons.
