"Paul was a competent student garnering high grades in his classes.  Not only did he make every effort to learn the material, he also made every effort to apply the information to the practice of massage.  Paul was always willing to learn different massage techniques and how best to apply a variety of techniques.

Paul is mature, very intelligent, professional and extremely capable.  He has excellent communication skills.  Paul is able to speak with clients about health and massage related issues in a very professional manner.  He is ethical, honest and considerate of his client's feelings and needs.

Paul readily combines the knowledgeable he has gained and is able to tailor the massage techniques to the benefit of his clients with ease.  [Paul's Massage Instructor]" Janis DrakeMS LMT

I view algebra like a game: there are simple rules that govern what you can do, and if you know and understand the rules, the game is a whole lot easier. The same thing can be said for algebra. If algebra seems to be a struggle for a student, I can help them identify the basic concepts (i.e. rules) on which they need to strengthen their understanding. Algebra is an essential tool I use to solve a myriad of problems every day as an engineer, and so I am intimately familiar with its many different topics, and perhaps because I understand its value, I genuinely enjoy teaching algebra to others.

I remember what it was like to personally struggle with algebra, and I know the most common pitfalls which make it seem more difficult than it actually is. Because of this experience, I am quite adept on picking up on my students' weak points, and helping them clear up fuzzy understandings of the rules of algebra. I started teaching algebra six years ago when I first started teaching it to ...

"Nick is a wonderful teacher, he is knowledgeable and perceptive. I first came to Nick for help on my essay for my college application. He was able to help me narrow down the options of topics to write about so that I could confidently write about a topic I am passionate about. He continued to help me outline and structure the paper so that it would be organized and academically acceptable, and finally, he helped with editing so that the final copy was ready. A few months later I received my letter of acceptance.
After helping with my college application essay, Nick continued tutoring me through my semester at Community College. he taught me how to do a close reading, to arrange paragraphs, and to better phrase my ideas. He offered new ways to strengthen my writing. Nick is so patient and full of encouragement, I could not have made it through the semester without him."

"Kawin is an awesome tutor. I was taking a Stats class at NYU, and I was struggling a lot. He was able help me understand the concepts. He also taught me how to identify key words that would help me select the correct equations to solve the problems. I don't think I would have passed the class without his help. I got a "B" in the class, and it sure felt like an "A"!"
