Working with me, gives you the experience of both an actor and a director. I see from inside your character and from your audience. I have worked with actors from first-time neophytes to professionals and styles from method to experimental styles of the 60s to improv and back to Shakespeare. I taught theatre in High School and College as well as community classes for children. I have acted and directed for many years.

About Jeannie

I have been in theatre since I was a child. My first love was acting until I was bitten by the directing bug when I realized I could watch my baby be born as the play came to life. To support myself while going through my theatre degrees, I worked with computer and became certified with Microsoft a

Improv and comedy are a couple of my BIG favs! Improv is so freeing and is essential for helping the new actor grow. For experienced actors, it can bring your performance to life like never before and really help you break out of patterns that are holding you back. Together we'll play with some of the best improv techniques and I'll give you "home play", games and exercises you can practice with friends.

About Hunter

I love to help new performers and people looking to break into the biz, as well as seasoned actors who want to up-level their career or deepen their craft. I have been coaching actors since 2008 and have a unique combination of experience and training to help you launch your career and create work

I’m so glad Hunter is still working through this! Writing this as we are all in quarantine / lockdown re: covid-19. This really has been the perfect time to do online lessons. Hunter is so positive and cheerful and, in addition to being an excellent teacher, she really brightens my mood! It’s so nice to have the break during the day or week just to see someone else’s face AND we’re actually getting a LOT done. She is so meticulous and organized in her lesson planning and always gives me the perfect practice work / homework for between lessons. I’m originally from Russia and have been here 10 years but still have a heavy accent so time to get rid of it - and we’re making progress already! It’s only been a couple of months, and people can already hear a difference. So glad I decided to do this and so glad I found Hunter. You really should give her a try!
Michael
Very precise attention to detail. Goal-oriented and motivated. Positive and encouraging. What else can I say? Everything you hope for in a teacher. Couldn’t be happier with my lesson!
Kaito
Hunter is an incredible teacher! She is so fun and down-to-earth and encouraging. It really makes the learning process easier and I always look forward to our sessions because I know I'm going to learn a lot and it’s going to be enjoyable. She has a lot of knowledge about accents and dialects and different cultures and can pick out what your specific issues are fast! So glad I chose her as my coach!

I believe that acting can be used as a mechanism to free people's personalities and souls. I studied acting with the great acting teacher and working actor, Bill Hickey. I was taught to focus on the strengths of each individual. I am not rigid or doctrinaire when it comes to how a scene, monologue, or audition piece needs to be performed. I try to bring out the unique personality of whomever I am teaching so that they carry those lessons with them in whatever they do. The best acting teachers are the ones that encourage actors to bring their whole, individual life experiences to each role they play.

About Dusko

I look forward to working with all of you wonderful actors, whether or not you want to become professionals or you see this as a creative hobby. I want to optimize your potential and encourage you to let your imaginations run wild. I have acted in a wide variety of plays written by some of the worl

My son Merak just had his first class with David. At first we had to reschedule due to technical difficulties and David was extremely easy to work with when accommodating a new time. Today during the class David was professional and very knowledgeable. So far he is well worth the investment and I look forward to having him teach my son more.

So, what is improv? Improvisation, or improv, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Often improvisers will take a suggestion from the audience, or or draw on some other source of inspiration to get started.

Improvisation, in my opinion, is one of the most important talents that an actor can acquire. I feel that it is essential in method acting and, as a theatre performer who understands that anything can happen on stage in front of a live audience, it is a tool of survival. Improv can also unlock our ability to be natural and, in turn, more believable.

Last but not least, an actor who has mastered the art of improv will be more confident and less nervous on stage.

About Tina

A recent transplant from Los Angeles, California; I have been singing professionally for more than forty years as well as having leading roles in local theatre productions. I have also been assistant director, musical director, choreographer, costumer and writer for many productions from West Side

"Christine communicates a well as anyone I've ever worked with. Great sense of humor, knows her stuff, and knows how to get it across to her students. She involves herself constantly in continuing education, so that she always represents a work in constant progress, rather than resting on her laurels and remaining static.
I recommend her highly to anyone looking for a great teacher and coach.
