Traci is a fantastic teacher because she is a fantastic dancer. She knows how to guide you whether you are overcoming an injury or trying to take your dancing to the next level. Traci takes ballet seriously but with lots of humor and grace!

I believe that a love of learning and a love of teaching go hand in hand. Teaching and tutoring allow me to help others develop that same love of learning that drives me in my studies. I find joy in showing students that intelligence is not fixed, helping them prove to themselves that they can improve their performance in any class with hard work.

The best tutors are people who love both the subjects they tutor and the feeling of helping someone succeed. I have always loved math and science, and part of my tutoring process is helping others to appreciate these topics as well. With words of encouragement and a non-judgmental attitude, I guide students toward a deeper understanding and better problem-solving strategies.

I prepare in advance for every lesson, regardless of the topic, to ensure that I am refreshed on the subject and to develop any materials I might use during the session (equation sheets, worksheets, etc.). I develop practice problems during math and science ...

About Allison
Hello! I have been tutoring for nine years, and I have a Master's degree in Astronomy & Astrophysics. I love teaching, and I make sure to incorporate real-life examples into my math and science problems to help people develop an appreciation of the subjects. When tutoring French, I add elements of culture that I have learned from my multiple trips to France (including an entire summer in Paris!) to make the language come alive. Book a lesson with me and see how I can help you achieve today!

Crochet lessons: I have been crocheting for 14 years, and I love to get creative with it! I make stuffed animals, blankets, and articles of clothing both from patterns and from my own imagination. Whether you've never held a crochet hook before or just want to learn some new skills to add to your repertoire, I would love to help you pursue crochet a

Allison is VERY sweet, patient and thorough! I really enjoyed working with her. I learned SO much in just one hour!! I was hesitant about taking the lessons as I've tried lessons at my local Michael's store but didn't get much out of it. One on one with Allison was the right decision. If you are just thinking about it - DO IT!!! You won't regret it. I'm looking forward to next week's lesson with Allison :)

Hello, I’m Keenan! I graduated in 2016 from Denison University I’m Granville, OH, with a BA in Mathematics and a BA in English Literature. I spent a year during high school tutoring students in Algebra 1 and 2, and I spent 2 years in college tutoring in Pre-Calculus and Calculus.
Many of the issues I’ve seen tutees run into, especially with mathematics, stems from a lack of confidence. They often believe that they are just not good at math and end of giving up before they try, making this a self-fulfilling prophecy. My tutoring method centers around “learning-by-doing” to gain confidence and teach core concepts at the same time while we build up to more difficult problems. Mathematical thinking takes time and a lot of head-scratching, and while I can not do the work for you, I am there to be a guiding hand that can help talk you through problems and examples and teach you how to study. I am open to tutoring anyone college age and below in any mathematics subject from Calculus and ...

About Keenan
I am a 2016 graduate of Denison University in Granville, OH. I spent much of high school and all of college tutoring others in Mathematics. I love working with students in a one-on-one setting in order to give my full attention to their success. I aim work with my tutees in a way that I can best discover how they learn, their strengths, and their weaknesses.

The day before a lesson, I like to be sent whatever material or problems that a student is working on so that I may go over it myself in order to make the most of the time in a session. I believe in learning by doing, but in that regard, I also aim to make sure students know not just HOW to solve a problem but WHY that solution works. My hope is to build up students’ mathematical knowledge while also teaching them the most effective ways to study and learn, making them more effec
tive students even outside of our lessons.

I have had a lot of tutors for mathematics (it just never clicks for me the way other subjects do!) over the years and Keenan was by far the best one. He managed to immediately figure out where I was intellectually and meet me there without making me feel like I was stupid at all. He was consistently kind, and came up with multiple ways to explain concepts I was having trouble with, and made sure that the answers he gave to my questions made complete sense to me before moving on. Keenan was even able to tame my anxiety the first time we met, and because of him I was able to pass calculus and get into graduate school! He even helped me come up with ways to ask my professor questions during class so that I didn't get left behind in lecture. I used to have a lot of trouble with this, since I was embarrassed and not sure that I would ask a question that made sense. Overall, Keenan was the best tutor I have ever had, and I am so grateful to him for helping me not only understand calculus, but start to enjoy it as well!
