I am a beginner, but because of Larry's different method of teaching music theory, it was easy for me to understand the fundamentals of music scales and consequently the origin of the chords and how they are formed. Larry goes the extra mile to make sure that you capture and understand the concepts.
Thank you!

Larry P has been an excellent starter piano teacher for my son. In 10 months my son is able to understand music and is on the road to being more confident in his ability to play the piano. Larry is patient and has a firm grasp on music concepts that he can easily transfer to any student who wants to learn.

About Kevin
I have been a teacher for several years in subjects ranging from Music to English. My most recent experience has been with ESL students, which I find to be most fulfilling. I earned a 94th percentile GRE Verbal score and have coached several students in test prep and general writing. As a trained singer, dialects and accents are areas with which I have extensive experience. The mechanics of phonation and speech have been a theme throughout my career and I have developed an acute sensitivity to the intricacies of diction in various languages.

I hope I can be of service to you!

On a personal note, I enjoy long-distance bike rides, classical music (2,500 vinyl LPs in the collection), personal essay writing, movies, and cooking. I love learning and spend almost all of my free time learning about something.

About Rakesh
My passion of teaching originates from my personal interest in learning. I get a sense of accomplishment when I facilitate the success of another individual with my teaching. As a graduate myself from a top 10 US university, I understand that to succeed in today's extremely competitive world one has to be really good with the subjects as well as scores. I consider this as an opportunity for me to help other students succeed in getting admissions to colleges of their dream.

I am a Chemistry/Chemical Engineering graduate and very well versed in Math and Chemistry subjects. I specialize in teaching AP and SAT Chemistry, Maths; precalculus, Algebra and Geometry, high school Chemistry and Math. I have tutored more than 10 students in the last 12 months and ~80% of them have got excellent scores in SAT and AP subjects.

I generally start with
understanding the requirements of the students as well as their learning style. I adapt my teaching style according to the students. I believe in open feedback and will continue teaching the student only if both the parents and the student involved are completely satisfied. I am generally flexible with the time (during weekends, and after 6 pm on weekdays).

I am very confident that your child will enjoy my teaching and be able to excel in the respective subject.

Hello! My name is Keli, and I am a music/writing instructor. I currently perform as a drummer around the Philly music scene - my most noteworthy venue to date being World Cafe Live. I am also a percussionist in the South Jersy Pops Orchestra. My day job is in academia as a master's student in philosophy at Temple University. There my focus is on music theory and time consciousness (and believe me, I have a lot of fun working in that field). I also like to write poems and little short stories on the side. Music and writing add so much to my life, and I love sharing that joy of music/writing with my students. I hope I may be of service!
