Between my 8 years of latin ballroom experience and training in bellydance, ballet, hip hop, gymnastics, and aerial arts, I bring a fusion of different dance background to each lesson.

I have been mentored by national and international ballroom champions, and have been teaching dance for 4 years. All ages welcome. If your looking for a social way to stay fit, or just want to learn a new skill, you've come to the right place.

Options are for both classical and contemporary ballet.

Careful private work on shape and function of the body, part by part. Breaking down the language of the movement so you know what you are doing when and how to carefully develop the parts that are weakest by separating them from the mix of all the movement and then studying them minutely until the physical process makes sense to your mind and body. Musicality from the moment you stand in first position. Relationship to music in the form itself and toward the music you are hearing. Turns, jumps, adagio, petite allegro, alignment, balance. Barre. Center. Feet. Head.....

Want to start your journey as a dancer? Want to pass exams to enter the ballet school? Want your body to feel good and fit? I wiil help you to strengthen the muscles of the back and the whole body, to increase your flexibility. I will teach you the main points in classical dance, considering your interests and tasks. I am experienced teacher of 4 years, speciallizing in the begginner/intermidiate dance student! All ages welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. I am a professional ballet dancer and I love to help students achieve "clean" un-stylized classical technique, whether they hope to gain admittance into top ballet schools, summer programs or audition for companies. I began training at age 3 and have experience with small and large schools. For my high school years, I trained with American Ballet Theatre's JKO School, where I received ABT certification to teach Levels Pre-Ballet - 3, then did my post secondary training with Canada's National Ballet School in Toronto. Since graduating, I have danced with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens in Montreal and Semperoper Ballett in Dresden, Germany. I would be more than happy to share tips and encourage any age student as they reach for their individual goals.
