I tutor grade school - high school students and increase their interest in the subject, be it reading, writing or math. Keeping the student interested in what they are learning and curious to learn more propels them toward higher learning in the future.

I view algebra like a game: there are simple rules that govern what you can do, and if you know and understand the rules, the game is a whole lot easier. The same thing can be said for algebra. If algebra seems to be a struggle for a student, I can help them identify the basic concepts (i.e. rules) on which they need to strengthen their understanding. Algebra is an essential tool I use to solve a myriad of problems every day as an engineer, and so I am intimately familiar with its many different topics, and perhaps because I understand its value, I genuinely enjoy teaching algebra to others.

I remember what it was like to personally struggle with algebra, and I know the most common pitfalls which make it seem more difficult than it actually is. Because of this experience, I am quite adept on picking up on my students' weak points, and helping them clear up fuzzy understandings of the rules of algebra. When I start a lesson in algebra, I seek to get to know how to best approach the concept in a way that works best for the student. I look for ways to improve the quality of my lessons for ways that make the most sense to students. If a student is taking a full algebra course, then we can work to make sure that the student gets the grade that they hope to achieve. I help the student by ordering their textbook if necessary and I also make videos of concepts that the student is working on to better assist them. Overall, I want my lessons to be a positive experience.

This course focuses on Algebra based on the current knowledge of the student, the first day we will assess what math concepts that are missing from your understanding, catching up with those holes, and adjusting a path forward in progress into college and university level Algebra used in Physics, Calculus, Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry, and possibly many forms of any Bachelor Studies and Guaranteed in Graduate students in Computing, Physics, Chemistry or Business Courses.

I'm 19 years old and in college right now. However, I love to help people out with they're work and will spend time to help anyone out with whatever they are having trouble with!

I have been teaching and tutoring for over five years, and my goal is to help students gain understanding of the problems they solve: I do not teach them simply how to solve problems, but why those problems can be solved in those particular ways. I want to enable students to become problem solvers who think logically and creatively.
