Experienced acting teacher of 20+ years, specializing in the beginner/intermediate/advanced acting student! All ages welcome. Not only will you be working on actual acting scripts that I will provide, but you will be building a strong foundation of technique, voice control, presentation, and more. I pioneered a private Arts Academy drama school for 4 years, and am now teaching acting and directing at a middle and high school. My goal is to help students become well-rounded in all the areas that are needed to truly become a working actor. These areas include: auditioning, theater, film, and improvisation.

Being a repertory performer for Silver Star Playhouse (musical theater parodies), and having lots of experience and training in improv and interactive dinner theaters really trains you in comedy.
My husband also owns Sound waves Productions (technological advanced studio in Gilbert)- so completing remote voiceover work for a reel is not out of the question.

I also encourage students to pair in duos for effective scene work and more in-depth technique training (this will also split your lesson cost in half).

I have completed the Players Workshop of Second City six part course twice and performed in their graduation show twice as well. I write comedy for my own purposes and study comedy almost constantly. However improv. for the actor can be an entirely different process and is based mainly on finding your character via various exercises. Open mid required!

I have extensive training in improvisational acting from East Carolina University in North Carolina and I've been teaching acting students since 2007. Students learn quick thinking, free movement, and artistic expression through acting exercises and games.

Hello! I'm Dominic R. (though I'm commonly known as "that guy" to very close friends) and I'm an artist. I'm an actor, teacher, singer, comedian, writer, graphic designer, and a really, horribly novice ukulele player.

I. LOVE. ACTING. And I love sharing my passion for that with other people, actors and non-actors alike.

In my acting coachings, I utilize many different exercises to make sure that each student has the knowledge and techniques required for them to feel completely, fearlessly themself. Every artist approaches their craft differently, but in acting, honesty is everything.
