For a little more than a decade now I have managed two parallel careers. Acting will always be my first love, but I was drawn to coaching because of how much it radically changed my life.
In the midst of all this, there is public speaking. Part of being a working actress does’t just mean movies and tv show. I have spent years on contract with companies such as Chrysler, GlaxoSmithKline, Comdex and The American Beauty Association doing press releases, new product launches, corporate presentations and even trade shows. To date, I have been on stage more than 2000 TIMES – I have learned a thing or two about delivering a speech!
Professional theatre training and performance, in London, NYC and now Los Angeles, gave me an excellent base and skill set, but where my skills were really honed was at large conferences, on the stage, and often on the road, in front of hundreds or thousands of people.
This is where I learned the nuances of things like microphone technique, managing ...

I have been working with electronics since I was 12 years old.
Have taken many college classes and taught as a mentor at the local college.
I have a electronics lab in my home and have designed my own circuits and etched my own boards.
I am also an Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator.
I believe that most people can be taught pretty much anything with a little patience and creative analogies.
Teaching and sharing my electronics and Amateur Radio knowledge has always been a passion of mine, I just have a great fear of teaching in front of a class.
I am also very versed in Information Technology and have several certifications.
( This was my second career)
Retired USAF Technical Sergeant with career fields of Ground Radio Communications and Radio Relay Communications. Amateur Radio Extra class radio operator. Worked in audio / video repair. Pre-Test, Final Test, and repair of B2, Boeing, Space Shuttle fuel gauging systems. Electronics lab in my home

My name is Myreah, but you may call me Mya. I'm no teacher. I'm no instructor. I'm no professor. Nope, too serious! I'm just a silly wife and mom of eight who homeschooled three of her sons and got them moved from special education to regular ed classes in less than a month... They are now back to attending school in a physical setting. I have an autistic son who is in first grade, thriving, and at the head of his class. I also have twin sons who are in 3rd grade. They have special physical and mental challenges due to being delivered via an emergency C-Section three months before their due date. Despite their challenges and struggles since birth, they are now eight-years-old and doing really well in school. Their teachers have no concerns. I took my boys who still could not read or count in first grade due to challenges to now reading (& at a nice pace), writing ...

When your child needs a little extra help with math, but doesn't seem interested in flashcards, worksheets, or other methods of learning, you need to be a little creative. If he or she enjoys sports, why not take the opportunity to introduce some math practice games while watching or playing the sport? Any sport can be turned into a math practice game - you just need to find a way to sneak it in without letting your child know you're trying to promote some math time. Below are some ideas to get …
