Mr. Brown is very attentive to my 6-year-old with piano lessons. He's very patient and always pleasant. He also tailors his lessons according to my child's development to ensure he's grasping each concept before moving on to the next lesson. I would highly recommend him as a piano instructor.

I had the pleasure of working with Eli as his coach, colleague and friend. Eli has a passion for teaching that is indescribable. He enjoys every second of working with students. Also, he is always willing to go above and beyond what is expected to ensure that students learn. Eli was an innovative member of our math team and experimented with the concept of a "Flipped Classroom." He utilized technology as a tool for increasing student learning. I appreciated Eli's willingness to explore how technology can enhance student engagement and knowledge. Furthermore, Eli has an amazing rapport with the students he serves. He amazed me every day with the manner in which he would interact with each student and how he would take an intense interest into every student's lives. I highly recommend Eli as a math tutor or staff member. Content expertise and a huge heart make Eli an effective educator that I would recommend to help any math student.

My daughter, although an A+ student, was struggling with Honors Geometry. A friend of mine recommended Eli for tutoring. We are very pleased to get to know Eli as an outstanding tutor to teach our daughter; he teachs all levels of math from middle to high school and AP courses. Eli is a full-time math instructor at the public schools for 5 years and he has experience teaching IB courses and tutoring college students in various subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. We are very thankful to have a knowledgable, experienced, respectful, kind and humble tutor like Eli for our daughter.
I personally highly recommend Eli for anyone who is looking for a top notch tutor for their kids either in middle school, high school or college.

I had the pleasure of calling Mr. Y my teacher for one year during my junior year of high school when he taught me Pre-Calculus. Mr. Y is a great teacher for several reasons. He is extremely knowledgable and is able to answer any questions with ease and clarity. He really encourages the students to ask questions and is always readily available to offer any help when needed. Mr. Y respected me as a student and I feel that because he was very passionate about math, it made going to class more enjoyable and interesting. I began to look forward to all of the new concepts we learned. Because Mr. Y has a vast knowledge for math, it helped me gain a deeper understanding of the concepts. He did not just teach surface-level; he really strived to help the students understand not only how a concept worked but why, which is the most important part!

Long ago while still anyoung student in middle school I thought math was a pointless subject. Decades later and my whole job is based on math. Had I known then what I know now I would have out more efforts into my lessons. I want to be that mentor and voice that math leads to generous careers and helps in maintaining a health financial life in the future.

About Andrea
Hello! My name is Andrea and my passion is math. It took a long time for me to realize math was my bread and butter but I am glad that I did! I can tutor/teach basic math skills to advanced calculas, statistics and differential equations. I use math everyday be it at work or at home and I wish for every student to learn that life plays an intricate role in all our lives. AND math is a fun subject!

As for history. Give me a good story and it is probably based on real life events. Our favorite books, movies, and tv shows all are all linked to a past event that influences the present idea. By bridging yesterday to today I make learning history fun and exciting. I hope the desire to hunt for that real world link will stay with a student forever as this very techniques worked on me.
