Before I met Red Pen Wench, writing was never pleasant to me. However, after I met her, I found myself enjoying writing and receiving straight A's on my papers. As a national scholastic writing judge, she critiques my essays from the eyes of a grader (and it never fails). Sometimes, she catches a minor mistake in my writing even my English teachers miss. While preparing my essays for my AP exam, she taught me not only to write an excellent essay in a limited time, but also to get through the stressful time of my life. She truly made the process enjoyable.
In addition, I got help from different agencies for my college app before I met Jill and I wasn't satisfied with the services they provided. That's why I reached out RPW in the second semester of my senior year. First, unlike other agencies, she wanted to know more about me (e.g. what I like to do, what I want to do in the future, how all of hardships affected my life). She thinks everything is a part of college application; indeed, she taught me that "College app is a great opportunity to grow as an overall person". Surprisingly, I enjoy writing my college essays now.
Upon her coaching on countless essays, she advised me to have a positive attitude when I personally had a difficult time.
It is always my pleasure to work with her and I really appreciate her help."
While I was using her method, Ms P was available online and on the phone to help with questions and offer suggestions. She is an amazing, caring, and very experienced teacher and I can't recommend her highly enough.
I'll never forget what she told me when I expressed concern about my ability to teach my autistic child to read (we had tried many other methods without success). She said, "If he can speak, he can learn to read". And she was right!
I am forever in Ms. P's debt for giving my son the most critical and valuable tool in his possession: knowing how to read!"
And they're not alone!

High school students can say "goodbye" to the SAT - the old version that is. Starting in March 2016, The College Board will introduce a redesigned SAT for students gearing up for college. So what do you need to know? The biggest difference to note is the essay portion at the end of the test. This will be an optional, timed, 50-minute essay depending on whether or not the school you are applying to requires it completed. The essay will focus on the assessment of your skills in developing a … Read More
