Teresa was awesome! She worked with me and my limited flexibility and really set me up for success with exercises to integrate into my routine. She was also very cognizant of a prior injury and presented long term alternate solutions to tissue regrowth. I really look forward to working with her again!

She was really great, we have only had one lesson so far but she made me feel very comfortable and I feel like she will be perfect for me helping me get over my stage fright. She came up with quite a few ideas up front and can tell she is taking it seriously, which makes me even more confident in her because it is such a serious issue for me. I am looking forward to working with her.

Keomi has a lot of positive energy and is sensitive to the the skill levels of her students so she tailors her classes to give just enough challenge while building on students’ strengths and experiences.
Keomi gives a great cardio workout where you really sweat yet the class is so fun that you don’t notice how hard you are working!
You WILL learn many classic hip hop moves which Keo strings together to make a sexy/cool but accessible choreography. You come out of class feeling blissed - both for the vigorous workout and for accomplishing the dance moves! This is a great class for all levels.

Deja had her first lesson with my daughter today. Deja was great. Right on time; worked with my daughter literally through the last minute of her lesson. I could hear Deja giving direction and instruction, and she was very encouraging and supportive. My daughter really liked her, and is excited about the process. (whew!). Great job!

I learned from Deja! 10 out of 10! She helped me become sharp in some movements and more feminine in others, the perfect blend! I witnessed her work with children too, she is great with people of all ages! Even when she couldn't do them all, she still helped me learn how to land my tricks! I love her! Thank you Deja!

I took a lesson with Tom. I really wanted to try him out because of all the great reviews he has, it definitely didn't fall short of my expectations. He was attentive, friendly, not judgelmental and a master of his craft. Thank you for all your tips.

It came to me again - that feeling that I could do anything. I know that's an exaggeration, but feelings of personal accomplishment lend a lot to taking future risks. Our dance team was under Tom's tutelage for four hours broken into two sessions and I was changed. He had persistence yet patience. He somehow gave everything enough attention, but kept us moving forward to use our time together the most wisely. He adapted to our unique and unusual dynamic and group personality, adopting our language while he taught us his.
My private lesson with him was special too. I remember feeling a bit vulnerable and self conscious in the first few minutes, wondering how we would connect on how to help me. I was put at ease as he listened to my thoughts, partnered with me in a quick exploratory dance, took the reins, and led me through an educational sixty minutes. I liked the way he made the specifics he was conveying accessible through brief relatable personal examples. I've had many people speak to me about frame, but the way he approached it and me was the way that has me doing better (I think!) I found Tom to be incredibly professional, personable, respectful and helpful.
I would certainly benefit from more time in his care.

Tom has a way of teaching that is easily understandable and make sense almost right away all the time. And this is awesome because I have no dance experience. He is just an all-around nice guy that is fun and knows what to say so that the lesson clicks for you he knows how to make you get it.

Hello and welcome. My name is Gigi. I have been teaching dance, dance fitness, and meditation for 30 years. I love the personal relationship with each student as together we bring forth skill, style, self confidence, expression, well being, and peace. My primary dance training was received from the Mid Hudson Ballet Company, with teaching certification from Music in Motion, Inc. My meditation training is rooted in 7 years of monastic life and 30 years of integrating the principles and practices into my being. I am a very compassionate, friendly, intuitive person who teaches with warmth, sensitivity, patience, and attention to detail. I look forward to bringing all of the above into sessions with you to help fulfill your personal goals and interests.
My relationship with dance began at the age of 3, when my mother enrolled me in my fir
st ballet class with the hope that it would help me gain the confidence to come out from my hiding place behind her back. Not only did it encourage me to overcome my excessively painful shyness, but it grew an everlasting love and shelter for me. I went on to receive the foundation of my training at Estelle & Alfonso Performing Arts and the Russian Ballet School of the Mid-Hudson Ballet Company. During my adolescent years, I became a teacher at the school and a performing member of the company. I also received the honor of performing in Harlequinade with the New York City Ballet, studying at the Craft of Choreography Conference on scholarship, and attending a variety of ballet, jazz, and modern dance classes by notable teachers in multiple schools and venues in the northeast.
In my adult years, I've enjoyed performing on many occasions, especially as a guest artist with Dog-Eared Dancers and in choreographic partnership with Anna Mayta of Anna Mayta Dance Fusion. I'm grateful to have expanded my modern dance and teaching experience with Laurie Sepe Marder, and to have studied Kuchipudi Classical Indian Dance with Kantham Chatlapalli, as well as ancient and modern Hula with Kumu June Tanoue. Under the mentorship of Barbara Thuesen, I received my certification in ballet teaching and choreography from Music in Motion, Inc. I was then accepted into the dance department at the West Australia Academy of Performing Arts, but chose to remain close to home and open White Lotus Ballet in 2004 instead.
Since then, I have had the ongoing pleasure of teaching dance to dozens of children and adults in my space, as well as at preschools, daycare centers, yoga studios, and special events. My teaching style and content continue to evolve with the gathering of insight, compassion, and experience.
In addition to traditional dance, that evolution has also expanded to include teaching meditation and healing dance. I am a very devotional soul and a natural intuitive empathic healer. So, i find all the gifts, talents, inspiration, and wisdom I receive come together in a variety of forms and ways I teach to touch the heart and desired interest of each student. Again, I look forward to creating lessons that fulfill you in that way.
I took dance lessons from Gigi with a focus on self expression and working through issues that I was holding onto on any particular day. I am 60+ years old and never danced before. Where my typical perspective of myself standing in front of a mirror is not positive, I somehow was transformed into seeing beauty. Gigi is a beautiful person, very patient , non judging. Her goal was for me to meet my goal, even when it changed from week to week. Sometimes we worked on dance technique, other times using movement to work through feelings. I loved it.

"I've taken both zouk AND locking privates with Tom. He really knows the material, this guy has trained with the best! He is relentless with his attention
to detail and thorough style. He was on time and very clear about our class objectives. What's really great about his space is the wood floor and mirrors. I highly recommend Tom as a teacher for dancers of every level!"
"Mr. Brandyn is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! He is an amazing dancer and pushes all of his students to be the best we can be. He's hard on us yet he understands e
ach of our differences and encourages us to embrace them. When I take class with him, I mentally prepare myself to push my limits and seek results because I know that if I dont, I would be doing myself a disservice and futhermore, HE WILL lol. Mr. B has inspired me to become a professional dancer because I've never seen someone love anything as much as he loves dance. I want to experience a love that great. His passion for the art form oozes from him and I feel lucky to have him as a teacher!!!!
Love you Mr. B 💞💖💗"
"I took a private Zouk lesson this week with Tom and it truly helped me unlock the missing features and details in the dance. He took his time and made su
re I clearly understood and was proficient with the moves before moving forward. He also made sure my form and movement was in alignment. It was a relief not having to be rushed into learning more moves when I’m not prepared. Now I feel confident that I will build a solid foundation to start my Zouk dance journey with. I’ll be taking more lessons with Tom in the future. Definitely recommend him!"
