I Am ChikaMoves and I am ready to get you moving! I have been teaching and performing traditional West African dance for over 20 years. I also teach Aerobics and dance to Caribbean and Afro Beats music! All levels are welcome and I especially enjoy teaching beginners who are ready to learn how to dance to a different beat. Classes include stretching, dynamic movements, and live drumming. Individuals will learn about the meaning of the rhythms and the dance and some are over 1000 years old. So not only do you get a great workout and dance lesson, you get a history lesson as well. I teach both children and Adults. Group lessons also available.
