I am a native Chinese speaker and an experienced Mandarin Chinese teacher. I am fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese, and can teach you either Chinese language. I have 20 years of tutoring experience. I received many awards in China because of my teaching. I love teaching and nothing can satisfy me more then when I see my students learning and improving. I like to help them with what they don't understand and see how they can overcome their weakness and be successful. I use many different techniques to help my students learn and always enjoy seeing them overcome a learning obstacle or become proficient in their language skills. My teaching is to learn happily, and feel the joy of learning. No matter what your age- from teenagers to adults- to motivate you to learn is the first important thing I will do. I am patient and extremely social and friendly. I know how to teach and communicate with people properly. I love working with adults and children! let me know how I can help you!

As a fully qualified Chinese teacher I have been teaching Mandarin for 16 years in both China and the United States. I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of Mandarin skills.

For adult learners, speaking Chinese does not seem easy, but I can help you understand and master the tones of the Chinese phonetic alphabet in a short time. Within the first few lessons, you'll start speaking simple sentences and, as time goes by, you'll be able to use Mandarin like a pro!

For young learners, we can start by recognizing the Chinese characters, or singing Chinese children's songs.

If you are an advanced Chinese learner, we can practise reading some Chinese articles and discuss the topics. I also specialize in Chinese writing so, if you need to improve your writing skills, I can help you.
