I have been teaching math for 6 years. Every student presented to me has different needs. As we go through some of the student's work, I notice what he/she needs to work on, and then we put emphasis on that. My goal is to help my students understand thoroughly the material in order build a strong foundation for further expansion on the subject.

Math can be so much fun, if you understand it! We will learn how to make math fun, so that when you get your homework it's not terrifying, or you have a test, you aren't afraid of it!

Algebra doesn't need to be hard! It is the fundamental building block to more advanced math and understanding it comfortably is possible with the right tutor.

Ever since earlier schooling I've been great at explaining things to people and helping them through holes in their knowledge. I understand the reasons that people get caught up in learning math; it is a language, and speaking it is as simple as finding the right teacher! If the student is putting in effort to learn, I can teach him/her. Try a few lessons with me and you'll see what I mean!

I work with the student on homework, assignments, quizzes, supplementing lectures and preparing for tests! I can assist in completing the necessary work, as well as preparing for exams; I write practice materials for my students that need them and help them prepare to their best ability. I am also great at supplementing lectures for classroom environments or teachers that are hard to learn from, teaching the information myself.

Algebra can often be a difficult subject to grasp. This is because there is so much information to learn, from functions, dependent/independent variables, factoring, graph transitions, etc. I will focus on providing students with a core foundation in algebra by giving them practice problems and simplifying concepts in a way they can understand. Algebra is very important before taking higher courses such as calculus, so a strong foundation is essential. Allow me to be your guide through this rigorous journey!

My algebra lessons are unique because I focus on guiding my students to come up with the answer on their own, making sure they know fundamental operations and simplification in algebra, and going through the understanding of each problem and similar problems with the same underlying idea.
