I've worked with students to strengthen their math skills for years. I work alongside your classroom assignments, reinforcing current topics while reviewing previous material that may have not been mastered. I focus on building confidence alongside content knowledge so that students feel comfortable in the classroom to have success.

Come study math with me, and I will help you accomplish your goals. I will introduce a variety of approaches to learning, so you can start to see success right away. Are you the parent of a child who is struggling with math in school? Are you an adult who wants to improve your math skills? I have worked with students of all ages from elementary school to middle school to high school to adults. I encourage working on all aspects of math, including computation, math theory, and application of math to real-world examples. Every lesson will include review and reinforcement of skills, as well as introduction of new material. We will even play math games and have fun as we study!
I am a dedicated teacher with over 25 years of classroom experience. I have received Teacher of the Year awards at two different schools and a state-level organizational award in recognition of my performance and abilities. Don’t be afraid of math! Let’s get started!

I love teaching, and I love Math. I've been preparing students to succeed in Math for the past 5 years and my students have gone on to master the subject. I specialize in online lessons. I typically use the student's book or my own materials. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

Basic Elementary Math, High School Integrated/Algebra, and Advanced College Business Math/Algebra

Experienced teacher of Math available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of skills. I typically use books, and also have the tools available to use during lessons.

I stress understanding rather than memorizing formulas. This ensures my students can derive formulas/solutions even without memorization.

I know firsthand how difficult it is to learn math whether you are a total newbie, or a budding intermediate, but I have overcame these challenges myself and will guide you to overcome them too. I also have close to 8 years of tutoring experience, which will surely come in handy!
