I have a bachelor's degree in Physics. This is my 17th year in the profession; for 11 years as a physics teacher and 5 years as director. Last year I was teaching physics in Michigan. Now, I am an assistant principal in a private school in Mt. Prospect. Since I don't want to lose my contact with teaching, I want to start tutoring. I am, originally, from Turkey and this is my 3rd year in the USA.
I am looking forward to meeting with students who want to improve their physics/math/science grades at school or get high scores in SAT or any other test.

I stress understanding rather than memorizing formulas. This ensures my students can derive formulas/solutions even without memorization.
I know firsthand how difficult it is to learn math whether you are a total newbie, or a budding intermediate, but I have overcame these challenges myself and will guide you to overcome them too. I also have close to 8 years of tutoring experience, which will surely come in handy!
I have always been a self-studier in my entire life. Being able to learn with just books and your brain is a crucial skill to have! However, I know not everyone (and sometimes even myself) have the discipline and motivation to keep going during hard times. This is where a tutor would come in handy.

Using my vocal and acting training, I have worked with many students on improving their speaking voices for public speaking or voice-over work. I use Linklater , and Alexander technique combined with other training to help students overcome their fear of public speaking as well as their technical vocal issues, such as articulation, projection, breathing problems and modulating the voice in a pleasant way. I can help you overcome an overly nasally tone for example or a monotone voice.
I've been teaching private vocal instruction since 2003, and opened my own studio in 2008. I love helping people find their true, authentic voice, which I feel is essential not only for singers but many other people as well! Singing is a great joy, and the voice is one of our primary modes of expre

Anyone can be a confident public speaker. I am living proof! I went from being so shy that I couldn’t imagine talking in front of more than a few people, to winning multiple national awards in public speaking and debate all throughout high school. I went on to be the assistant coach of a speech and debate club for 3 years.
Learning to speak in public brings an incredible sense of self-confidence that will play into multiple areas of your life.
Through my lessons, you will learn proper breathing techniques so that your voice is the strongest it can be. You will learn how to use inflection, pauses, and body and hand movements to give your speeches more power and meaning. We will also explore the difference between good and bad nervous energy ( yes, being nervous can be a good thing!).
My goal is to help you reach a place where public speaking is more exciting than scary, and I always want my students to have fun while learning. My students should feel free to ask me questions,
Hi! My name is December and I am a 28 year old lover of music and crafts! Music was instilled in me from a very young age with piano lessons, and I grew up playing the piano, flute, and singing in choirs. I graduated from Grove City College with a degree in vocal music, and always looked forwar

Each session is individually tailored and customized. No two students learn exactly the same, so no two tutors should teach the same. I am patient with my students and attempt to help them see, not just the answers to a questions, but the line of reasoning involved.
Your learning sessions is FIT to you. Don't buy an android case if you have an iPhone, right? You tell me what you want to learn, and how you want to learn. Need to cram for a test? Bring the coffee and let's do it. Want to spend more time on something specific, I'm yours. (Still bring coffee,
