I started sewing when I was in middle school and still have a few of my first projects. I enjoy teaching new skills to everyone and love when my students "figure it out."
Hi there! Thank for taking a look at my profile. I started my teaching career as a math teacher 17 years ago and have recently branched into sewing and violin lessons. As a trained teacher, I am well versed at giving multiple examples and giving the student time to figure out and solve the proble

Billie began knitting at age 4. Over the decades she has knit everything from slippers, afghans, jackets, sweaters, baby clothes to dishtowels. She is a retired educational consultant who worked with parents and teachers to bring learning toys to children in their most formative years. She understands how life in our fast-paced world can lead one to feel the need to multi-task. Knitting allows you to do just that! You can have conversations or watch a film on Netflix while turning a piece of yarn into something useful, one stitch at a time. But it's also very relaxing, once you're up to speed. Billie is a patient teacher who will ensure that you'll be knitting in no time.
In your first class you'll learn how to cast on, and do the knit and purl stitches.
If time permits, you'll also learn how to bind off. Billie can help you select patterns to make things that will be at the right skill level for you.

I was born in Japan and origami was something that came naturally to me as a child. The love of Origami was passed down to me from my Japanese Grandmother who decorated her room with all of her paper creations.
It's been in my blood and comes as second nature to me however I know how complex some of these folds can be and my goal as a teacher is to help anyone be able to fold anything, while throwing in stories from Japan and Origami trivia!
Playing Music brings me such joy! I want you share that Joy with you by bringing that to our classes and helping you grow in a fun and encouraging way! I'm a singer songwriter and have worked as a full time musician for the last 13 years. I graduated from Auckland University with Bachelor's of P

She makes learning astrology easier because she breaks the subject matter down into simpler terms. She makes learning astrology fun because she is a brilliant storyteller.
I maintain my own astrology website, but I continue to educate myself about Astrology. When I need another lesson, I contact Dr. Faust. And I refer all of my friends to her as well.
She would be a tremendous asset to any organization."
