I have a graduate degree in education and nearly 20 years of teaching and private tutoring experience.

My background as a singer and speaking voice expert has allowed me to help many not native English speakers gain confidence! I also work with regional accents to help "neutralize" . Bet you can't tell I'm from Chicago: I got rid of MY OWN accent through vowel work!

New York State Certification, including Spanish and Bilingual Spanish Endorsements. Native Spanish proficiency. Tutor Spanish and have taught Spanish at UMUC and other educational institutions.

With English, I have taught English Composition, College Composition, College Writing, Public Speaking, and Interpersonal Communication at the college level.

I have been teaching for over 7 years, here in the US and in Europe (I also speak fluent French but I’m American). I concentrate on accent reduction and pronunciation along with general conversation.
