I offer individual tutoring for all middle school, high school and college mathematics, physics and computer science classes and all standardized exams. I come with more than ten years of teaching and tutoring experience, pedagogical know-how, educational resources, and am always professional. A little about myself. I was enrolled in a top mathematical high school and won multiple mathematical olympiads starting at a young age. I graduated from university with honors and the highest departmental distinction. While at the university I served as a teaching assistant and tutored other students. Mathematics and teaching are still my big passions. I’ve taught math classes at a private school as well as tutored students of all ages and all levels. 'Dr. Cliff,' a part-time college/university professor, teacher and tutor with 5 master's and 3 doctoral degrees in a variety of topics: Mathematics, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, MBA, Leadership, Education and Administration. He has always used proven educational techniques to instruct undergraduate students, graduate students and school children/teenagers (K-12). In addition, Dr. Cliff is a Certified Tutor by American Tutoring Association and National Tutoring Association (Math); he holds California Teaching Credentials in Math (CSET I,II,III), Business (I,II,III), and Educational Technology/Computers (I,II); he is a Sylvan Certified Teacher in Math and Arts/Language K-12.

Algebra is a very important component in the complex machine that is mathematics. I break down the fundamental concepts encountered in algebra (such as graphing, operations on variables, absolute value and factoring) into a simplified medley of direct explanations that can easily be understood . You will gain an immense amount of insight in algebra and mathematics as a whole after I demonstrate my clear and concise strategies for 'assaulting algebra'.

If you've ever struggled with Algebra and wished you had someone that could explain it to you in a way that you could understand, I may be the teacher for you. My students learn because I adapt the lessons to their own personal experiences and interests. When students can make math personal, they have a much better chance of excelling at it.

I stress understanding rather than memorizing formulas. This ensures my students can derive formulas/solutions even without memorization.

I know firsthand how difficult it is to learn programming whether you are a total newbie, or a budding intermediate, but I have overcame these challenges myself and will guide you to overcome them too. I also have close to 8 years of tutoring experience, which will surely come in handy!
