I offer individual tutoring for all middle school, high school and college mathematics, physics and computer science classes and all standardized exams. I come with more than ten years of teaching and tutoring experience, pedagogical know-how, educational resources, and am always professional. A little about myself. I was enrolled in a top mathematical high school and won multiple mathematical olympiads starting at a young age. I graduated from university with honors and the highest departmental distinction. While at the university I served as a teaching assistant and tutored other students. Mathematics and teaching are still my big passions. I’ve taught math classes at a private school as well as tutored students of all ages and all levels. To help you reach your personal academic goals, (whether it be pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trig, pre-Calculus or Calculus, SAT, and/or the ACT test preparation, or may be GRE preparation for an older audience) I will find your weak topics and help you understand it fully. For that, I analyze your previous work and we discuss what you did and why. I will help you to see the logic in the solution and understand the relationship between concepts. Between sessions, I will happily answer short questions off the clock by email, or Skype.

For the SAT/ACT test takers my plan is usually for a student to take the practice test at home or school, then grade it and come back to me with the results. We will diagnose your problems (as in “didn’t have enough time”, “don’t know how to approach a problem like this”, “didn’t read the problem carefully”, “made a calculation error”, “didn’t know the definition” and so on) and work ...
