I teach ISEE, SSAT, and ACT math in addition to Common Core and regular coursework.

Jesse is exactly what you would want in a tutor. He is extremely knowledgeable and has excellent intuition on how to present information in an understandable way. His lesson plans are extremely flexible to how you are learning the information. Highly recommended if you are looking for a Spanish language tutor.
Theo
I would recommend Jesse for any tutoring need without reservation. In our household, Jesse has helped amplify the Spanish learning for a middle/hs student, helped an older student with the application process for graduate work and worked with someone on writing. He’s phenomenal at all of it for the following reasons: his patience, intelligence and good nature are exceptional; he can work with all temperaments; he will meet your student where they are. Most important: he is systematic and provides real executive functioning support for each task. He is an unusually talented tutor and human being.
Charlie
Highly recommend Jesse as a Spanish tutor! Have been working with Jesse for almost 9 months (2 hrs + / weekly) and my Spanish fluency has rapidly increased over this period. Jesse's lesson plans are highly curated for my specific goals, learning style and interests. It's been a pleasure working with Jesse and appreciate his willingness to accommodate with my busy work / travel schedule.

General Note: I majored in Spanish undergrad, and have explored a number of different way to continue learning in NYC - group classes and language programs have their value but can not complete with in-person, 1v1 instruction.

Helped me with Introductory Physics 1 and 2! Really helped me understand the material rather than just doing the problems for me! Great tutoring!

Daniel tutored my teenage son in Algebra and Geometry for over one year. During that time, my son's grades increased and he became more confident with Math, in general. His time with Daniel set him up for success in Algebra 2 this year (11th grade). Daniel was always on time, very polite and courteous with my son! Highly recommend his tutoring service.
Audrey B.
Daniel was an hour late to the class, didn't have any intro, did not even show his face online which should be a mandatory practice for security reasons. My son had a lesson with him for less than 45 min, ( in between he had to figure out to effectively use Zoom features because he didn't want to use the platform from Takelesson ) and he charged us one hour lesson. He was an ok teacher, but I think it's a strictly business for him, he said he won't teach an extra minute for free, Lol, don't be in this business if you don't love what you do.
It took me 30 min to found a better AP physics teacher at a better price on a different provider website, and honestly, they love what they do so everyone is happy.

"Rod worked with my daughter weekly for a couple of months leading up to the NYC state tests. With Rod's careful, concerted planning and diligence, my daughter's score went from 2.4 on the 7th grade Math state test, to a 2.8 in 8th grade, which equates to a move from below the 50th percentile, to between the 50th and 75th percentile. My daughter's in-school math instruction was chaotic and disjointed, and I attribute her improvement to Rod's intervention."

"I wish I had found Aron earlier on in my math class, but nonetheless the couple of sessions we had together in preparation for my final exam made the difference! I received an A on the final thanks in large part for his expertise in breaking down a few difficult concepts I had been hung up on. Aron is extremely knowledgeable, professional and takes the time to ensure I understand the underlying principles behind the calculations. He has a very intuitive sense of explaining things from different angles so that the student is able to tackle a wide variety of problems. If you are looking for a math tutor, please stop your search right here and give Aron a call. He will exceed your expectations! I will be utilizing him again and look forward to the sessions!"
