My name is Mena. I have a strong background in math with a degree in Actuarial science and have been tutoring the SAT, ACT, Algebra 1&2, and Geometry for over four years. I have extensive knowledge of the testing strategies needed to make the exam fun and easy. I work with students to find areas that need strengthening then work patiently with them to hone their skills. Successful test preparation is largely about demystifying the test through time spent learning the correct approach which I have years of experience doing, with that confidence students can achieve any score they set their minds to.
There is a SPECIAL PRICE if you buy the whole course including all study materials.

Chemistry is one of the most difficult courses a student can take in high school and one of the most unique in that it involves a deeper level of thinking to conceptually understand. The main issue for a chemistry tutor is breaking this barrier - knowing how to explain the same concept in a million ways, specific for each students' learning needs. Chemistry is one of the most rewarding subjects to teach because it is filled with "aha" moments where the student changes from confusion to complete understanding. I have so far tutored 6 students in chemistry/AP chemistry and hope to tutor many more.

I've been working on my French weekly with Bene for the past couple months. It's been a lovely experience so far. Her classes have really helped me discover the French language and culture in a new way.

Bene is a very patient, creative, and dedicated teacher, and she's done an amazing job tailoring classes around my personal language goals. Every class, we work on expanding my vocabulary, improving conversational fluency and reading comprehension, with a bit of grammar practice built it as well.

I'd highly recommend Bene as a French tutor!

He is one of the better individuals to talk to when it comes to starting with SQL and database. He paces himself fairly and invests the right amount of time in making sure you understand the concept. His problem solving techniques are what set him apart from other tutors that I had referred to in past.

"Dr. Nupur is the best teacher ever, we feel lucky to have found her at takelessons.

Her background is impeccable and in addition, she is a teacher who cares. She cared about my daughter, her progress (high school, chemistry) and well-being. My daughter's progress in less than 1 month was amazing: she went from 'we're a bit concerned for your grade' to the point she was helping others in class.

Dr. Nupur is the kind of teacher you wish your kids to have. I recommend her highly."
