History is the story about our parents, grandparents, grand-grandparents and so on. Is about how did they live, how did they died and what did they accomplish.

History is about where they build their houses, how did they get along with their neighbors, what stupid mistakes they made and how they fixed them and all other little things that makes a life.

History is about your ancestors. They could have been gold mine diggers, farmers, presidents or kings, teachers, healers or priests.

My teaching method is to make you understand how we became what we are today. If you learn this, then you will not only pass the exams but you may fall in love with the past.

Because to foresee the future you must know the past.

Hello! I offer Creative Writing lessons as well as tutoring in academic essay writing and college admissions essays. I have experience working with a range of writers, from beginners to gifted students who just need a little more direction. I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and I work with each student to find the method that will unlock their full writing potential. I approach my classes and tutoring sessions with humor and work with each student to improve their writing, leading to clearer, more engaging work.

Andrea works at the Writing Center at Grace Church School, a leading independent high school in lower Manhattan. I've taught there for the last couple years and make a point to send my students to the Writing Center (and her specifically, whenever possible) if they are struggling with any areas of their writing.

I've observed her in the Writing Center on a number of occasions, and she always does a great job navigating the difficult balance between helping students directly, and creating a path for them to work through questions on their own. She is direct, but supportive. She also is very perceptive of students' anxiety levels - many are kids who tend to stress about college and grades often - and how to change her tone, or comment with a personal anecdote, when what the student needs most is a moment to laugh or calm down.

Andrea's best skill in my opinion is teaching her tutees to adjust their priorities based on a deadline. She consults students whose papers are due in a couple of hours, and others who have a whole week left, and without being preachy gets across realistic expectations of what can be done within the timeframe.

Andrea connected with my daughter right away, encouraging her to push her writing in more creative directions. Andrea brought her bright personality to each lesson, making the writing process fun for my daughter. Together, they worked on her college admissions essay and a few English class assignments. Andrea helped my daughter overcome her writer's block and anxiety about writing to craft more personal, thoughtful essays. We are very pleased with the results!

My daughter had a great experience with Andrea as a writing tutor. Andrea helped her with her college admissions essay and she is attending Vassar in the fall - very pleased. Andrea is very patient, punctual, and has helped Claire gain confidence in her writing.

"Excellent tutor! Daniel tutored my 13 year old son in Physics. My son went from being completely lost to getting an A in the class. Very professional, explains topics clearly, connects well with student. My son loved the Skype/online white board method of teaching. No need to go anywhere or sit in traffic. Daniel was flexible with setting up lessons and even made time when urgently needed, like before a test. My son had a great experience and can't wait to learn with Daniel again when he gets to HS physics."

"Rod worked with my daughter weekly for a couple of months leading up to the NYC state tests. With Rod's careful, concerted planning and diligence, my daughter's score went from 2.4 on the 7th grade Math state test, to a 2.8 in 8th grade, which equates to a move from below the 50th percentile, to between the 50th and 75th percentile. My daughter's in-school math instruction was chaotic and disjointed, and I attribute her improvement to Rod's intervention."

She's very patient & knows exactly how to make everything make sense & how to break things down in order give proper analysis in whatever she teaches from piano to singing to basic music theory. She was able to answer any questions I had in full detail. She's a very warm & welcoming person that loves to teach & can do so very well. I highly recommend her as an instructor. 4 Reasons Why Good Writers Succeed at Work

The global workplace has made communicators of us all. Irrespective of field, job level, experience, or knowing everything there is to know about getting your job done, having only specialized knowledge will not take you very far in the long run – you need to be a competent professional communicator too. While corporate communication consists of verbal, listening, and written skills, the latter tops the list as rudimentary for most jobs. Good grammar and writing skills are more than just an a …
