Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is the umbrella of all yoga branches. It is known to be the highest and thorough of yoga traditions. It utilizes meditation, mantra, physical exercises, and breathing techniques. It is best recognized as a Raj Yoga.

It is taught by encompassing the eight limbs of yoga as created by Patanjali, into a extraordinary practice of bliss. “Kundalini” is accurately defined as “the curl of the lock of hair of the beloved.” The metaphor of Kundalini refers to the movement of energy and consciousness that exists within each of us, and enables us to merge with – or “yoke” – the physical self with the universal. Combining individual and universal consciousness creates a divine union, called “yoga.”

I had three 90 minute sessions-Diana was wonderful-she is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She has a soothing demeanor-her studio is very conducive to meditating. She asks relevant questions and was extremely therapeutic in her approach. She is very intuitive and I feel much better about the things transpiring in my life. I highly recommend Diana-from beginner to expert, my experience was great.

Diana has a calm vibe throughout the lesson. She is very intuitive to what my mind and body is communicating. She has a gift of healing and her soft voice puts you at ease. She describes postures eloquently, and is able to gauge your abilities and go at the appropriate pace with each lesson. Diana provides yoga hand-outs and will give encouraging information for your health and diet. Diana was great at helping me understand things about yoga that I wasn't familiar with, I thought her presentation when I first walked into her class was remarkable. I am very thankful that I have the chance to take her classes. I highly recommend her to new and current students of Kundalini yoga and meditation.

I truly feel blessed to witness people on their yoga journey. They begin, and as small changes take place, larger changes begin in their lives outside of the yoga mat. I practice Ashtanga yoga and have felt the true blessings of a regular yoga practice. I currently teach at a local yoga studio, Vinyasa classes Level 1/2 and a modified Ashtanga class. Steve contacted me before my first lesson to discuss what I expected from the session. I had only scheduled one lesson and wanted to try it out for myself and because I am enrolled in a graduate study program; I needed to try an alternative healing session so I could complete an assignment. I loved that Steve explained the movements and how they affected the internal body, mind, and spirit. He is a wealth of information and I plan on continuing to learn from him.

I haven't even taken the lesson yet, but am struck by his professionalism in reaching out to me by phone to discuss my knowledge and expectations of Qigong. You know the feeling you get when you talk to someone about a subject and you have an inclination about their depth of knowledge of it? Paul is an amazing yoga instructor! He puts a real focus in breath, which is often difficult to find in an instructor. He is also great at being able to adapt sessions for specific needs. I can't imagine going to anyone else!

Paul really listens to me and customizes the practice to my needs. He's very knowledgable and encouraging, without ever being pushy. His calming disposition is laced with a great sense of humor. Several of my friends have also started practicing with Paul, and are now suggesting him to others. I started out with Paul as a new-by, and when I've gone to yoga classes in other cities I feel confident. He has provided excellent instruction and challenges me each and every time. If you're thinking about doing yoga, call Paul, he's excellent!
