Sarah is very patient with my daughter. She tailors the class to her personality. She gets her to do the class in a fun way. She makes the class enjoyable but still focuses on her growth. She pushes Alexa enough to keep her going. She motivates her to learn. My daughter looks forward to her lessons. Recommend!

Olga taught us an amazing first wedding dance that she also choreographed for us. She combined Rumba and Foxtrot elements – with leans, dips and even a lift – into one unique dance that impressed (and definitely surprised) our friends and family at the reception. Neither of us had ever done any formal dancing before, but Olga got us to a proficient level in a very short time. Besides being a talented teacher, Olga is also very funny, as well as kind, and will make you feel at ease as you begin to dance, no matter your skill or comfort level. Highly recommended!

About Nadia
Dance has played a strong role in my life for 30+ years. I am a professional dancer/choreographer. I love teaching both children and adults who have no rhythm at all but with a heart to dance, to dancers who are professionally trained. I enjoy bringing out of them laughter at themselves when they make a mistake, but instal in them when to take it seriously.

I bring very strong, professional and confident choreography to both all ages and levels of a dancer from beginners to advance. I have been working and teaching youth from ages 4 to adult for over 17 years. I additionally have training in tap, jazz, ballet, modern, african, lyrical, cheer tumbling, and competitive Hip Hop/Break choreography. I am as well a self motivator and a self discipline woman. It doesn’t stop there. I am a good candidate for a long term teacher and dancer with
so much loyalty and patience for students.

If you need choreography with formal events, such as weddings, bday parties, quinceaneras etc I'm your girl! I have a blast working those events.

If you are looking for lessons in the style of Breakin' or more commercially known as Breakdancing, then look no further! I will provide you with easy to follow step by step lessons that allow ANYONE to learn how to dance whether you are just a beginner or an experienced dancer.

I have been teaching Breakin' for 10 years in both private lesson settings as well as classroom settings. I spent 4 years in University of California, Irvine dance department teaching a course on the foundation movements of the style Breakin'. I am also a member of America's Best Dance Crew Season 8 KINJAZ.

About Darren
If you are looking for lessons in the style of Breakin' or more commercially known as Breakdancing, then look no further! Darren will provide you with easy to follow, step by step lessons that allow ANYONE to learn how to dance whether you are just a beginner or an experienced dancer.

Darren is a member of The Kinjaz from NBC's World of Dance and has been teaching, performing and choreographing in the Hip Hop community for 13 years. He has also been a part of world renowned Hip Hop organizations such as Culture Shock LA and Kaba Modern and spent 4 years on the faculty of the Claire Trevor School School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine as an adjunct lecturer of Breakin'. He has been sharing his experience and knowledge by teaching and training dancers of all skill levels, from college performing arts programs, dance
studios and online students from around the world, how to break with the knowledge that he has been fortunate enough to gain.

Darren's goal is to share what dance has given him in his life by providing in person or online dance courses for up and coming dancers who may be intimidated or self-conscious to start dancing or do not have access to experienced teachers or a dance studio with classes that interest them around them. His courses allow both new and experienced dancers from all over the world to have access to an experienced teacher who understands the ins and outs of how to break down movements to its simplest form, so a student can confidently learn a movement with correct technique, execute them to music and piece them together to create their own combinations whenever and wherever without having to step foot into a studio.

He aspires not only to help those in his local dance community, but also dance communities worldwide who may not have direct access to the techniques and knowledge that was shared with him.

More importantly, he can help any bboy or regular dancer with the most important aspect of dance: staying on beat 100% of the time while doing these moves! Dance Lessons with me are designed to be a fun, inviting, and educational learning experience. Each lesson is a time of positive enrichment, growth, and unlimited opportunities. Growing up, I always enjoyed going to dance classes as they were an escape route from my daily duties or simply just relieving my mind from math homework for a few hours. Now, as an instructor I strive to meet each students needs by teaching in a style that best suits them. My goal as a teacher is to help my students become the best dancer they can be while also helping them be the best person they can be by teaching them time management skills, discipline, and the importance of the arts.

About Katie Rose
Katie Rose Carnes, a Memphis native, is a graduate from The University of Alabama, with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in Food and Nutrition and Human Development and Family Studies. She is excited to extend her passion and enthusiasm for dance as she begins her performance and teaching career.
Carnes has trained in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, and contemporary dance styles for 17 years. While completing her undergraduate degree for the past four years Carnes also focused heavy on choreography and dance for film. Carnes has choreographed five works while attending UA, with three of them being chosen for festivals and other performance opportunities.

Furthermore, Carnes directed and choreographed two films, Beauty and A Chance in Time. Both films were selected for The University of South Florida’s Dance Shorts Film Festival (’15 & ’16), and A Chance in Time was showcased in the Dance Alabama Film Festival (’17).
August 2016, Carnes returned from her first International performance of Col/apse, at the International Collegiate Theatre Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. In fall ’15, Carnes was selected as an Undergraduate Creative Research Activity Scholar where she received a grant to pursue her dream as an artist at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
This past summer, Carnes is worked in the Live Entertainment department at Cedar Point, summer 2017. She then went on to perform on tour the Chicago Honey Bear Dancers and is now a full-time teacher with Today’s Generation Dance.
