She made my dreams come true in learning how to sing Anime! I have been wanting to sing 3 songs in Japanese! Her experience in working with Anime helped to build the courage to go karaoke when I visited Japan and was able to sing them. I impressed my Japanese host family and my colleagues! If you don't speak Japanese but want to learn how to sing in Japanese she is the best hands down

I provide classical instruction in portraiture, still life and landscape in your studio or mine. In this traditional approach to drawing and painting, what will be taught and focused upon are perspective, value and composition in order for the student to develop strong visual language skills. The program of study begins with a specific focus on drawing, since drawing is the foundation upon which all great traditional art is built. Throughout this training, emphasis will be placed on accuracy, or more specifically, seeing and rendering correctly such things as line quality, hard and soft edges, proportion, positive and negative space through abstract form and the use of the full range of values.

About Jeff

I'm a graduate of Dean College in Franklin, MA and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where I majored in art history and studio art with a focus on portrait painting and illustration. I continued further study at the Andeeva Portrait Academy in Sante Fe New Mexico, the Los Angeles Acad

I tutor children from K-5. I like the Singapore math method and experience with common core math from K-5. I am a big believer of Kumon style of math that some facts just simply have to have the repeated practice in order to gain fluency which is very similar to learning another language but I make the learning an enjoyable experience.

About Kana

I love teaching especially language as I am passionate about language. I also speak Chinese and currently learning Spanish. I have been teaching Japanese about 20 years from the age of 2 to adults. I do not just teach but I also try to give you the culture/background of the Japanese language. I

I Majored in Creative Writing in College and continue to practice it every day. It's not necessarily a subject that can be "Mastered" (in my opinion), as creativity is an infinite and uncapped flow. Anyone can write from childhood to their deathbed. It the purest form of expression and it's my first love. I use it while writing songs for performing artists in Los Angeles, but that's only one of many doors that an understanding of creative writing can open!

About Amy

I’m a professional singer-songwriter, performing and recording artist. I signed my first publishing deal in Los Angeles in 2004 and spent three years studying music at the Biola Conservatory of Music. I left school to jump on my first tour, opening for Kate Voegele and the Veronicas. I toured the U

"Daniel has tutored me through 2 years of college math including, calculus 2, calculus 3, linear algebra, and differential equations. He helped me on a weekly basis with homework assignments and preparing for tests. The way he taught cleared up all of my questions from lecture and changed my approach to math for the better. Thanks to Daniel's methods and thorough explanations, I earned A's in all my classes. If you seek a solid understanding of math and a professional tutor, I highly recommend Daniel."

"I highly recommend Matt for his math tutoring services. I increased my OAR (Officer Aptitude Rating) score 10 points after six weeks of tutoring with Matt, making my new score very competitive. Scheduling long-distance tutoring sessions once a week was easy and the length was perfect (1.5 hours). He showed me how to visualize word problems, which is what I needed. He's personable and easy-going and I found his familiarity with military aptitude exams extremely valuable."

"Bill is really pretty terrific. After going over the basics of first being understood in the public domain (voice and enunciation practices) we are now beginning, at my request, more commercial uses of speech. I have been in theater and done a few voice overs but just did the work with no training, and with the knowledge I could do better. Now I really feel like I am learning much from Bill about a subject area I always wanted more information about. I feel confident with Bill's specific and professional advice, practice and teaching materials (in this case, ad copy and homework).
Bill is also friendly and his teaching is not intimidating or stern. I enjoy his classes and remember his situations. I would highly recommend Bill as a teacher! Try taking one of his classes!"

"Meagan is very flexible and is a great teacher. She doesn't make the student feel self-conscious about answering wrong, She gently asks the student to explain how they came up with the answer and allows them to correct themselves. If the student doesn't realize their error during the explanation, she explains to the student wherein the equation they made an error. She also repeats the problem areas with the student until they have a full understanding of the process.

I sought Meagan out after my daughter came home with a failing grade in Algebra I. I am very happy with my selection, she is the perfect fit for my daughter. She is very flexible and I appreciate that she doesn't make my daughter feel like her lack of understanding of the subject matter makes her inadequate. I am going to continue hiring Meagan for the duration of the school year, my daughter really likes her and is learning far more than she is from her regular classroom environment."
