I am a very experienced Maths teacher. I have taught maths to kids starting from 5 years old. Maths is something kids have to take interest and understand what they are doing rather than just learning. I take various approaches to make a child understand the concept and then move on to the next level. Maths has to be made interesting and this will make the student develop interest towards the subject.

I teach all forms of literacy including listening, speaking, writing, and reading English. I teach grammar, phonics, word recognition and comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, and effective, expressive, and creative writing skills. I have been an avid reader and writer ever since my elementary school days. At college, I received a perfect score on my departmental English exam. I have three education degrees: A double bachelor's in elementary education and music, and a master's in reading. I am presently a Mesa Laubach Literacy Council Board Member and Tutor. I love to help students become more proficient in the English language.

My name is Mena. I have a strong background in math with a degree in Actuarial science and have been tutoring the SAT, ACT, Algebra 1&2, and Geometry for over four years. I have extensive knowledge of the testing strategies needed to make the exam fun and easy. I work with students to find areas that need strengthening then work patiently with them to hone their skills. Successful test preparation is largely about demystifying the test through time spent learning the correct approach which I have years of experience doing, with that confidence students can achieve any score they set their minds to.
