*** Lesson Details ***
Making music and singing should be fun, and everyone deserves to have a great experience with their instrument for the rest of their lives. I take pride in guiding my students in exploring their potential in a safe, creative and non-judgmental environment. My students will learn to develop courage and confidence, grow their ears and appreciation for music in all its forms, and expand their range, power and musical skills.

Your lessons will be tailored according to your goals, dreams and personal motivation. I will offer you resources and show you how to use research as way to become independent when preparing your lessons, auditions and performances. If you are an aspiring guitarist/songwriter, I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar and offer you fun techniques to build those callouses, play rhythmically with confidence and coordinate your playing with your singing.

Whether you are completely inexperienced, naturally gifted, shy, ambitious about a professional career or just looking for an outlet that feels good, I am here to help you. You will not only learn technical skills and many tricks for beating stage fright and crafting a performance, but you will also learn to share your unique personality on stage, and learn to perform with feeling, heart and honesty.

Everyone has something beautiful and wonderful to offer the world and I look forward to meeting you and discovering your special voice and sound!

*** Studio Equipment ***
My lessons are conducted in my home in an open living room area. I have a keyboard and a guitar. You must bring your own guitar (an acoustic or acoustic electric - sorry, I do not teach lessons with electric guitars) and, if you have "accompaniment" karaoke CDs (or mp3 on your phone or laptop) and/or sheet music that you have been working with, I encourage you to bring those.

*** Travel Equipment ***
Home lessons are negotiable and I would bring a guitar and/or a percussive instrument. Your home must have a room where lessons can be conducted free from distraction (incl. pets and siblings) and have enough space for exercises and instruments. It must also be in-view of the family and have an open. Group lessons are negotiable. :-)

*** Specialties ***
I specialize in singing, songwriting, voice, speech and acting. I also teach beginning lessons in guitar and piano. Other specializations: International Phonetic Alphabet, Accent Reduction, Musical Theatre, Classical Theatre (Shakespeare, Greeks), Movement Theatre (Mime, Period Movement, Stage Combat), Singing Styles (Jazz, Pop, Rock, Classical, Gospel, Musical Theatre, Sacred Chant).

About Jacquie
As a young child, Jacquie began to show interest in both piano and voice. Coming from a musical family tree, her father began teaching her beginner piano as well as vocal harmony through original children compositions. She began her formal piano training at age 8 and continued to study for the next 5 years. At this time she also began writing music and recording her compositions in the family recording studio.

Around the age of 12, Jacquie began her training in classical voice. She is well versed in all styles from Opera to Pop and has the unique ability to train others to accomplish their musical goals. As a Coloratura Soprano she has starred in many productions and won prestigious vocal competitions throughout the USA and Europe. Jacquie is an accomplished Contemporary Songwriter and Recording Artist which has caught the eye of quit
e a few National Recording Companies. In the Summer of 2000 she toured throughout Tuscany, Italy as a featured soloist with SSMA with an Orchestral Ensemble. While in college she minored in Piano Performance and majored in Vocal Performance.

Jacquie began teaching at the age of 16 from her family's music store in beginner piano and voice where she learned the art of being an private instructor. Since then she has taught at other prestigious Music Schools and has trained students of all ages to the advanced level. She prides herself on the ability to be able to customize each lesson to accommodate both the student's wants and needs. She has trained many students who have gained successful entrance into LVPA Charter High School, Community Theaters and highly acclaimed competitions such as "American Idol." In 2005 she acquired a membership with NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing).

Come have FUN with Jacquie, she would love to have the opportunity to guide you or your children through a musical journey!

As a private instructor Jacquie believes that lessons can be both FUN and rewarding. She holds her students accountable for practicing and preparing for the next week's lesson by setting goals and providing techniques in order to be successful. Throughout the lesson she will give praise for the students accomplishments as well as give constructive feedback for improvement. She prefers to teach from the Alfred's Piano Library for Piano, recommends Theory, Harmony & Solfege, as well as materials for the students choice of Musical and Vocal style. It is also recommended to bring a notebook, binder and personal MP3 device in order to prepare for the next week's lesson. Within the first 3-6 months a student will have learned the beginning techniques for either piano or voice and have quite a few songs added to their repertoire.

Jacquie's studio has a comfortable seating area for parents to observe the lesson if desired. She also has a full size digital studio piano, recording studio, stereo, and other musical necessities to accommodate each and every lesson professionally.

All styles from Opera to POP!
Experience with teaching young children, special needs (physically/intellectually disabled), and people who are tone deaf.

Diana has a calm vibe throughout the lesson. She is very intuitive to what my mind and body is communicating. She has a gift of healing and her soft voice puts you at ease. She describes postures eloquently, and is able to gauge your abilities and go at the appropriate pace with each lesson. Diana provides yoga hand-outs and will give encouraging information for your health and diet. Diana was great at helping me understand things about yoga that I wasn't familiar with, I thought her presentation when I first walked into her class was remarkable. I am very thankful that I have the chance to take her classes. I highly recommend her to new and current students of Kundalini yoga and meditation.

About Andrea
Hi! My name is Andrea and I can't wait to meet you!

I've been teaching my skills of releasing psychic pain and depression since 2013. I love watching the light begin to shine in the eyes of my students as they realize just how easy it's going to be to find their heart's delight after years of going down the wrong roads.

For example, a divorcee had lost hope, unable to find a loving relationship for around 10 years. After 2-3 consults with me, she found her dream mate and they've been together for 3 years now.

Another student reached out to me for obsessive-compulsive behavior that was ruining her life. She said she saw something special about me that she could never find with a therapist. After only 4 visits, she'd made massive progress, and called to say, "Hey, Andrea, I just want to let you know that my whole day started out b
eautifully! I feel so good and clear. You really pulled out all the stops to help me -- thank you!!" For the next few lessons, we plumbed deeply-rooted causes for many of her anxieties and released them in very thorough and life-changing ways. She's about to start having the best years of her life because of the work she's done.

Both these ladies were willing to do the work (which can be fun!) of uncovering the beautiful life that was awaiting them all the time. If you're ready, or even considering, please feel free to send me a question and let's get you the answers you're looking for. :)

Andrea is AWESOME. She is very open minded, good listener, askes great questions, has awesome homework assignments, so I was able to find my own answers. She came to my house, but can also work on line or on the phone. For me she helped me accomplish goals, as she is a real cheer leader. I needed that.

I highly recommend Andrea, but be careful; you may doing something you always dreamed about, but were afraid to do it.

Andrea is a loving, compassionate, experienced, and wise life coach. I was in a professional situation where I felt a lot of discomfort. It was hindering my forward progress. I felt frustrated and stuck. Andrea was able to offer me the tremendous gift of a space completely free of judgement, where I could be transparent and authentic in the process. As a result of a particular tool and technique of her coaching, I left feeling smarter, stronger and better equipped to move forward. That session was the beginning of one of the best years I have ever had. Thanks Andrea!

Andrea is a natural coach. She is patient, intuitive and wise beyond her years. She listens deeply and observes, then illuminates what lies beneath the surface that can hold us back or move us forward using focus wheels. She helped me build the confidence and clarity I needed in relationships and career. Thank you, Andrea.
