I started teaching knitting when I was 15, to both those younger and older than me. What I think I bring to the table is an extraordinary amount of patience and excitement! I remember very clearly when I was learning to knit when I was around 10, how stressed out and frustrated I kept getting. I know that the learning process is different for every single person so I strive to make sure you are comfortable and we are only going at the pace that works best for you. This can be a life long fun and satisfying activity (once the stress part goes away!)
Hi! I have been knitting for around 20+ years now (about 2/3rds of my life) and love to share that with others! When I was in high school, I started teaching lessons at a yarn shop and realized how much I enjoyed working with others. Professionally I have held several customer service and managemen

My teaching style is progressive and tailored to the individual student. Each lesson builds on what was learned before. We go over games that the student has played, especially losses to higher rated players. For beginning players and juniors I teach the fundamentals and build from there. Suggested books are Comprehensive Chess Course, for beginners, and Chess The Easy Way by Reuben Fine, for more advanced players.
I'm a patient and experienced chess teacher with 8 years of experience teaching children and adults. My teaching approach is practical and fun. We look at the chess games that you've played, and I teach the fundamentals of chess strategy and tactics based on these games. I have more than twenty

Thank you Atousa!"
I took my sewing project —a tunic— with me and she explained clearly how to adjust the fit, which I’d been struggling with for a couple of weeks (and 3 muslins!). I left our one-hour session ready to conquer my tunic!
She is warm and friendly and is clearly not only an excellent sewist but also really good at teaching.
Thank you, Mya!"
As a game, chess is traditionally divided into three phases: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame. While all three are important, today I’m going to help you start out strong in the opening. When I first learned how to play chess, I played openings that really did not help me improve and left me with an awkward start to the game more often than not. Eventually, I adopted some of the openings that I will show you in this post and my rating skyrocketed. Opening Principles The first …

You may also have immediately relegated this project to your retirement years, when you imagine that you will have endless amounts of time to learn to make a quilt.
