Beginner-You will learn basic skills of hand and machine stitching, seams, darts, pleats, zippers, pouch, tote bag and build many more samples into a scrapbook.

Intermediate- Fabric dimension and behavior, cutting skills, bias binding, various necklines and making a skirt or blouse. Learn to make garment with commercial pattern.

Advanced-Make dress, skirt, pants or blouse with lining.

Note: Although students learn at different rates, the above results are expected, if taking lessons 2hours a week, for 5weeks for all levels.

I will teach you how to make video games! I teach the following programs:

Scratch 2.0 - a great program to learn for beginners or children 8 and up! Put together code "blocks" like puzzle pieces to program your game!

Stencyl - For making games without typing code! Similar to Scratch where blocks of code are used, but much more powerful!

Unity - For making 2D and 3D games. We will use a little bit of C# language to code the games!

Game Art - Create game art and animation sprites for your games using Adobe Animate and Adobe Photoshop!

Children or Adults can take any of these programs. I recommend 8+ years for Scratch and 10+ years for Unity. 12+ years to really get into more actual c# coding.

My students and I have at least one meeting per week with the goal of preparing them for rated competitions. During this meeting, I will go over tactical themes with the student, challenge him/her with puzzles, go over and discuss Grandmaster games and opening variations, or play training games.

I will also chat with the student and find out what she been doing, what she has been working on, and ask her what problems she has encountered during her training.

Beginning chess students will learn how to properly move the pieces, opening technique, tactics, and basic endgame concepts.

Learn how to make a unique and personal game world using the Unity game engine in just a few days! In my course, students will learn the artistic side of game design, no coding required. Each lesson will cover a different aspect- Level design, Lighting, Sound, Narrative, Interactivity, and more.

As with crocheting, I can teach a range of students, from those with the beginning desire to learn to students wishing to hone specific techniques. My favorite techniques include in the round and double pointed needles, because who doesn't want to learn to avoid more sewing?
